STORY

Episode 104

Carlos tells Silvia he will keep the children, support them with his writing. says she couldn't care for them and work at the same time. He promises she will always be their mother. When she learns that he and the children are in Mariangel's house, she accuses him of doing what he accuses her of. She refuses to give up her children and they part angrily. Back at Mariangel's house, he tells her it wasn't a discussion but another argument, but it was best to end it once and for all, at one blow. Mariangel tells him she's been thinking and doesn't want to risk his friendship, can't be both his friend and the other. He realizes she is right, there is too much to work out and decides to leave the house at once. After he goes, she cries.

 Santiago learns that Lisa is on the way back to the city and wants to meet her at the airport but doesn't know which one. Omaira goes to Margarita's house, tells her it is even more depressing than before, has Margarita perform some kind of ceremony to make the house hers; Margarita drops what she is holding while walking around the house. This frightens Omaira so much she leaves in spite of Margarita's demands that she stay.

 Isabel tells Barbara she can't destroy Augusto by telling him about Margarita. When Augusto calls the number Vicente gave him, he gets Barbara's answering service and wonders why Barbara Solis wants to talk with him.

 Silvia greets Augusto, tells him it is over between her and Carlos but nothing happened between her and her boss. Augusto assures her he never doubted that. He tells her about Beba's illness. Then they learn that Dr. Contreras has arrived and is with Beba.

 Lisa arrives home, tells Margarita she didn't have a response at the wedding but does now, then launches into a speech after saying she had none. Margarita interrupts, tells her she never understood her, the family treated her like somebody beneath their dignity, that she doesn't know what it means to realize that one's life depends solely on one's self, that her future is Santiago. Lisa tells her that she loves Santiago and he loves her. Santiago decides he has to find out if Lisa has arrived home and calls the house.
