Episode 103
Margarita
tells Silvia she can understand how her boss, a man of the world, could
seduce a woman like her but she should have had more sense then to have had
her picture taken with her boss kissing her. Silvia, of course, doesn't know
what Margarita is talking about until she sees the paper. Silvia can't
believe all this fuss over a simple photo. Margarita's reaction doesn't
surprise her because she always thinks the worse, but Augusto, Carlos?
Silvia tells her that she is a married woman, knows who she is, and no,
there is nothing between her and her boss. Then Margarita tells her Augusto
is in the clinic, that Beba is sick. Barbara goes to Augusto's office,
decides to wait for him. Vicente arrives, tells her that Augusto won't be in
the office today, probably not tomorrow either. Barbara gives Vicente her
cell phone number, asks him to give it to Augusto.
Alvaro
tells Ernesto that Santiago's lawyer got him out on bail. Worse, reporters
question Santiago on the news. All he says is that he no longer works for
the company and will prove his innocence.
Gustavo
has a guard bring Francisco to him, tells him that Beba has been calling for
him but he can't see her, she is in isolation.
Alvaro
tells Ernesto there is nothing they can do right now to put Santiago in
jail, but they needn't worry about his lawyer. Now they must prove their
innocence.
Eloisa
tells Santiago about Barbara's visit, suggests that she could be a good
witness. Santiago doesn't want to involve her.
In
the jungle, Lisa says goodbye to everybody. Hilaria tells her she wants to
be a doctor like her. Lisa gives her her stethoscope. Anibal tries to stop
Lisa's plane from taking off but fails. Dr. Fonseca tells Anibal to leave
Lisa in peace.
Silvia finds Carlos in the clinic, demands to know where her children are. They go to the cafeteria. Carlos admits that at first he was angry that she went to work, was sure she would fail but then he realized it was a chance to become closer to his children than he had ever thought possible. She forces him to accuse her directly. He tells her it wasn't just the photo, he called her room and her boss answered. She explains they were working. He doesn't believe her, tells her it is over between them.
