Lisa finally tells Santiago that she knows Margarita is pregnant with his child. He argues that it is far more likely that the child is Augusto's. Santiago tells Lisa if he could change one day in his life, it would be that day. Lisa repeats that theirs can't be. Camila interrupts them, Dr. Fonseca needs her. She tells him that their problems can wait. She and Dr. Fonseca decide to try las semillas. Anibal has a fit when he discovers that Santiago is in the clinic. Margarita overhears a mini-news conference in which Santiago is accused of negligence, is said to be facing many years in jail. Alvaro advises Ernesto to talk with the press but not to directly accuse Santiago because that would be appear suspicious, make it appear that he and the company are the victims. Ernesto says that Santiago has the total responsibility for the project. The name of the company is en juego. It appears that he is directly responsible for what happened and if that is so, the company will do all that is needed to achieve justice. Beba begs Augusto to send for Francisco, but he refuses. Adriana visits Francisco (his only call). Francisco tells him about Beba's turning up, etc. He asks her to check on Beba. The police call Augusto, insist on talking with him. The police tells Augusto they need proof of rape. Augusto refuses, says he'll retract the accusation if necessary. The policeman tells him the case is in progress, the examination must be made. Augusto tells Margarita and Gustavo what is required. Camila tells Bonifacio that Anibal's colleague is fine, is interested only in Lisa. Anibal calls Ramirez, tells him that Santiago is here in the jungle because he told him. Anibal tells him this won't do him any good. Lisa reminds Santiago that there is an epidemic in the region. He insists that resolving their problem is just as or more important! A woman arrives with a patient. Camila tells Santiago that Bonifacio came looking for him, that Anibal is worried about him. Santiago finally gives up, temporarily. Carlos calls MariAngel, gets her permission to visit her. Rubi visits Delia, says they need her husband urgently, there is a patient who needs him, that Gustavo is sure the patient, Beba, has the virus.
