lisa told the nuns that hilaria might have been abducted by the shaman (hilaria's uncle). then she told the same thing to dr foncesca and said that she wanted to go to the "tree trial". dr foncesca said that lisa should ask for anibal's help as anibal knew many locals who knew the forest well. lisa thought about the suggestion, hilaria had to be found, so she decided to ask for anibal's help. anibal agreed but lisa said she preferred if bonifacio accompanied her. but bonifacio said he couldn't go as his family was prohibited from entering the area. but actually it was anibal who asked bonifacio to say that to lisa. lisa said okay, as she wanted to find hilaria as soon as possible and hilaria had to be sent to the mecidal camp. then anibal prepared the essentials for the journey like blanket, water etc. then he gave lisa a knife for protection. he said,"keep this to protect yourself in the forest and from me." lisa kept it inside her bag. then lisa, anibal and bonifacio left for the woods. they reached an area, bonifacio stopped and said that he could only go that far. so lisa and anibal continued their journey. lisa was tired so they stopped by a river, anibal offered his hand to help lisa into the river, but lisa refused. she said she could manage, but she tripped, yet she said she was ok (though she was in pain). anibal left her alone, lisa took off her jacket and washed her face and neck. all the while she carefully screened the area for traces of anibal coming back. but anibal actually was hiding behind a tree and said,"this time i'm not going to hurry, i'm going to wait for the right time."

s'go was packing for amazon. he told everything about ernesto to ramirez. then ramirez called the airline office to book him a ticket. then s'go took a cab to the airport. on the way, he called dr. gustavo martinez to tell him that all the damages at the hospital were caused by the construction work and s'go said that he would tell him everything when he got home. he didn't tell anybody that he was going to amazon, not even his mum or lisa's family. he arrived late at the airport that he had to jump the queue to get his ticket. then s'go arrived at amazon.

augusto was at the school's office. he asked the teachers why wasn't beba at the trip when he himself had sent beba to go. the male teacher replied,"beatriz just came to say goodbye to mimi." then the female teacher said,"beatriz took advantage of this situation to be with francisco." she also said that beba had been acting strange recently. a'to stressed that beba had everyone at home, and everyone loved and supported her, so she should have no problem. then left the office for the police station, and lodged a report that her underaged sister had been kidnapped by a guy with criminal record.

franc was waiting for the doctor, but unfortunately the doctor was out of town so his friend brought a woman, she was sort of a witch. she examined beba and said that beba was in serious condition and had to be brought out of the island. franc packed up his and beba's things. beba's sickness reattacked, it was coming and going. franc told beba that her clothes were wet and needed to be changed, then helped beba to change. then beba asked franc to show her around the place so that she wouldn't forget it. franc told her not to talk as if she was dying. then franc said he and beba would live forever.

silvia was at her office, boris came in, asked her to tell him everything and whether she was going to carribean. silvia said that she had no coice. boris was so happy that he wanted to call upon silvia's secretary to help silvia style up. silvia was surprised and asked, "am i going there for work or for a beauty pageant?" boris told her that she couldn't go there looking like that because she was going to deal with people from all over the world. silvia said she had no other face to put on. then boris assumed that carlos didn't allow silvia to go. silvia said carlos even preferred her to lose her job. then she said after all the hard work, she wasn't going to leave the job.

carlos was at home, complaining that his wife was going to wear swimming suit and sell dolls by the seaside. he refused to do housework. laundry was scattered around the living room, dishes were not washed and the kids were not bathed. then margo arrived, she was angry with carlos for making the house a big mess and said that she couldn't wait for the day to chase them all away. then carlos and margo argued, and margo left the house. she went to solis enterprise to see elsa.
