Well, Lisa finally stitched up Santiago's wound. At first Santiago was a little bit
hesitant as Lisa's only a nurse. Then she told him that she's done that before and that
she's also a medical student.
Anyway, he was impressed with the way she handled the situation (putting aside her anger
at him and treating him professionally)
He told her to forget about the invoice he gave her for the ruined cement steps at the
construction site. He wanted to pay the hospital charges but Lisa told him they do work
for free. Again he was impressed.
There was an emergency at the hospital. Bus accident. So patients were pouring in. One had
to undergo a scan to see whether there's brain damage. But the hospital's machine was out
of order and there was no ambulance to take him there. So our Engineer became hero for the
day. Volunteered to send the boy and his mom to a private hospital. Pretty nurse followed.
Again he was impressed with how Lisa comforted the boy's mom. At the private hospital, our
good samaritan volunteered to pay for the boy's treatment. He waited for Lisa, who was
about to get a bus back to work, and offered to send her back. Jeng, jeng, jeng!! On the
way back, our playboy Mr. Engineer started talking to Lisa about getting to know her
better. To forget what had happened between them before and to start over as friends. Lisa
said she cannot treat as if nothing had happened between them before. Life is not a soap
opera where you can stop and start anew everyday. She said she learnt that from her
parents' deaths. She said that she treats each and everyday as precious moments and to go
on living, not in the past, but for the future. Santiago wanted to be friends with her.
They shook hands. Sparks flew!! (My opinion, lah...)
Note: I think Santiago has fallen in love with Lisa. Lisa has also realised that Santiago
is not that bad, esp. when she found out that he paid for the boy's hospital treatment.
Santiago ni, playboy betul. Last week tidur ngan Margo. Pas tu propose to Babs. Now nak
mengorat Lisa pulak!! Siap nak datang balik to remove the stitches and nak make sure that
Lisa is on duty then to remove the stitches for him!!
Meanwhile, Babs was unhappy, having found Margo's photo. She went shopping with her
friend. Later on she decided to confront Santiago about the photo.
Our Ms. Margo was upset when she found out that Santiago is engaged to marry Babs.
Augusto, poor thing, went to see an infertility specialist. He wanted to make sure that
there's nothing wrong with him before subjecting Margo to all the pain of infertility
treatment. (Hello, Augusto....wake up and smell the coffee!! Your wife has been lying to
you!!!)
Poor Beba went to the cemetery with her nerdy friend. Her nerdy friend took her there to
pray at the Patron of Students' tomb, to help her with her studies. Poor Beba.....
Let's see what happens tomorrow.....
