Episode 40
Roberto
pressures Rubi for Francisco's room number. The orderly who helped Beba
recalls her telling him that Francisco has no friends. Roberto enters the
room after Gustavo leaves. Roberto threatens him with a gun, tells him that
nobody will believe his story. Franciso tells the orderly the visitor wasn't
a friend.
Jaime
recalls the woman who gave him the medallion, just like hers.
Augusto
tells Margarita he is tired, he has too many worries for their relationship
to be one more. He tells her that he feels alone. She promises it will be
different from now on. He won't be alone. She gives him something to eat,
acts lovingly toward the twins.
Beba
tells Francisco's aunt he was knifed and is in the hospital. She says she
doesn't care, too bad he isn't dead..
Lisa
shows Rubi her ring, then goes to Francisco's room where she sees him
sleeping.
Ernesto
tells Barbara she is going on a vacation.
Margarita
serves dinner. Augusto yells at Lisa when she comes late. She tells them all
she is going to marry. Augusto is furious because she never invited him to
the house. Lisa assures him that was her decision, that she isn't going to
give up his studies. But she is in love and doesn't want to wait. Augusto
tells Lisa he wants her to be happy, but he knows this is her first man, she
doesn't know him well. He's afraid that she is in love with love.
Santiago
eats at a restaurant with his mother and ? to tell them that he proposed and
Lisa accepted.
Silvia
criticizes Carlos for what he fed the twins.
Ernesto
tells himself that for now he will pretend not to have anything against
Santiago but when he is ready, he will get revenge. Santiago's mother tells
Santiago she is worried about Don Ernesto. To herself she thinks that men
like Ernesto do not forgive. Ernesto tells his wife that when the moment
comes, Santiago will pay all that he owes.
Margarita
tells Augusto she wants to visit Omaira. He doesn't like Omaira but doesn't
object. Margarita tells Omaira what happened. She isn't even happy with the
money she got. Margarita blames Omaira for all that has happened to her,
asks Omaira to help her get rid of her child.
