Episode 36
Lisa
tells Delia that her husband isn't feeling well.
Santiago
tells his mother about Margarita's demand, doesn't know what to do about her
or Barbara, tells her he loves Lisa. Santiago tells his mother that Lisa
knows about Barbara but not Margarita, he's waiting for the right moment.
She tells him that the right moment with a woman like Lisa is now.
Margarita
visits Barbara in the hospital, accuses her of taking the pills as her last
chance to get Santiago back, tells her that she is expecting Santiago's
child which is much smarter than attempting suicide. Margarita walks out on
her and Barbara follows. Her mother stops her. Margarita arrives home and
throws a fit while Barbara is throwing a similar fit in the hospital.
Barbara tells her parents that that woman was there and told her she is
pregnant and that is why Santiago left her. Ernesto tells her it isn't true
but won't explain how he knows, says he will take care of things.
Margarita
and Carlos fight. She calls him a pobre diablo, a "useful for
nothing". Carlos tells her he doesn't know how Augusto could fall in
love with such a woman. Carlos tells her about the man who was asking about
her, that he told him her real name.
Alvaro
Gallindo tells Ernesto Solis that Margarita is married to Augusto Estrada,
doesn't think Santiago knows. Ernesto tells him that Santiago will learn the
truth but it is Margarita who will pay.
Lisa
shows Jaime the news report of an epidemic in the jungle and Juan tells
Anibal he heard the news on the radio. Jaime says he has been studying the
possiblity for years, fears this is something worse but needs proof.
Margarita
calls her psychic, tells her that Bárbara's father knows she is pregnant
and is married.
Santiago
takes Lisa home, tells her there is something important she must know.
Before he can talk, she tells him she hasn't been honest. She tells him that
she went to see Barbara.
Sr. Montero reprimands Silvia for something she didn't do and doesn't give her a chance to explain.
