This is the main town of jajpur district.Previously it was known as DOLIPUR.It's name is jajpur road or j.k road because of the name of railway station jajpur keonjhar road.Now it's name is again changed to VYASANAGAR.It is a small, nice town in eastern region of orissa. This is 80 km approximately from cuttack,103 km. from Bhubaneswar. Near by jajpur road there are many Mines areas, plants and picnic spots also.There are sukinda mines, TATA mines, Daitari mines, saruabila mines, kaliapani mines, telrangi mines and many other mines also. These are iron and chrome mines. There are TISCO PLANT IN BRAHMANIPAL, NINL(Nilachal Ispat Nigam LTD) , MESCO steel plant and many other plants. About picnic spot plenty of them, whom to name like ASOKJHAR near sukinda, DAITARI RESVOIR in Daitari many of them whose names also i don't know. there are plentyof picnic spot towards keonjhar also. Famous MAA TARINI temple is 70 KM from jajpur road. Famous Biraja temple is 28 KM from jajpur road.

Jajpur road is a small town and some of it's important areas are DHABALAGIRI,COLLEGE CHAK,CHORDA,KANHEIPUR,UMAPADA,KOPANDA,JHATIA SAHI,NATPADA,DALA,SAPAGADIA,GOPABANDHU CHHAK,BANK STREET,BYPASS CHHAK,BUS STAND, STATION and many more.In jajpur road there is one plant called ferrochrome plant. There are many offices like TTS(GRIDCO),OMC,LABORATORY,MINES etc all in dhabalagiri. Tehsil off, municipality, banks all in market area. Police station in CHORDA. FIRE Station near college square ETC. V.N college main college of jajpur road is in dhabalagiri.Dhabalagiri,Kanheipur are considered to be cool places of jajpur road. The dread full areas in jajpur road is CHORDA. Though these guys were beaten black and blue by natapada,jhatiasahi,kopanda guys but they considered to be DON(kuji dada) of jajpur road.

About DADA GIRI no particular person is a DON of this area. Every body considered himself don of his area. But when i was child i heard DILIP BAL, LATE BIBHUTI PATNAIK WERE considered to be don of jajpur road.How ever Dilip Bal was beaten left and right from some villagers just 15 km away from jajpur road due to his CHHODIAMI just few days back.
