PATROL 117 stands for Peoples Action Team Responding On-Line, Number 1 in Service, Number 1 in Response, 7 minutes Response Time. This program is an expanded Streetwatch program of the Department of Interior and Local Government which actively involves the local community, Non-Government Organization and the People's Organization proactively and reactively. PATROL 117 program works as a Calling Center for people who needs help 24 hours nationwide accessible through landline and mobile phones whether police, fire or medical assistance. Some centers adapt their own communication network in order to serve even beyond their area of responsibility.
