Fr. C. T. Kurian Chaluparambil ordained Ramban
Knanaya Jacobite Church
Auxillary Bishop designate Fr. C. T. Kurian Chaluparambil was ordained as Ramban
on Sunday, 21st January, prior to his ordination as Bishop. He was named as 'Chaluparambil
Kuriakose Ramban'.
The chief celebrant of the ordination ceremony was Arch Bishop Kuriakose Mor
Severios of Knanaya Jacobite Church. The ceremony was held at St. Mary's Knanaya
Church at Kallissery.
The ordination was assisted by Dr. Geevarghese Mor Koorilos of Niranam Diocese
and many other priests. A large crowd was also present in the
Church.
A public reception and felicitation meeting was held after the ordination, which
was presided by the Arch Bishop Kuriakose Mor Severios. The Kallissery St.Mary's
Church Vicar Fr. T. T. Abraham Thottupurathu welcomed the gathering. Bishop Dr.
Geevarghese Mor Koorilos delivered the falicitation speech.
