Mor Julius Yeshu`Çiçek

The last rites of the late Archbishop of Central Europe H.E. Mor Yulius Yeshu` Cicek who passed away on 30th October 2005 will be held on Saturday, Nov 5, 2005, at noon, at the Mor Ephrem monastery in Losser, The Netherlands. His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I, the Patriarch of Antioch and the Supreme Head of the Universal Syrian Orthodox Church who arrived here yesterday  along with Mor Saliba Shamun (Iraq), Mor Salvanus (Homs), Mor Severius Hawa (Iraq), Mor Elio Bahe (Patriarchal Assistant) will lead the final rites.

Almost all the Syrian Orthodox bishops from different parts of the world has arrived at the monastery for the funeral. The Malankara Church is represented by His Grace Kuriakose Mor Theophilos, the resident Metropolitan of the Malankara Seminary and Very Rev. Adai Jacob Corepiscopa, the seminary Principal.  

The mortal remains of the late archbishop will be interred in the tomb for bishops in the Cathedral of the Holy Virgin Mary, below the sanctuary, where also rests the late Archbishop of North America of blessed memory, Mor Athanasius Yeshu Samuel.
