FEAST OF ST:PETER AND ST:PAUL CELEBRATED AT THIRUVANANTHAPURAM


The feast of St:Peter and St:Paul, which marks the end of the Lent of 'Sleeho' (sleeha nombu) was celebrated here at Thiruvananthapuram on June 29th.The feast which also happens to be the church feast was attended by hundreds of faithful.

The 'perunnal' evening prayers started at 6PM on 28th  lead by HG Mor Ivaniose Mathews, the ArchBishop of Kandanad diocese. The evening prayer was followed by perunnal procession (rasa) and the eve ended with the delivery of feast message by H.G.

The Holy Tri-Mass started at 7 AM on 29th and the chief celebrant was H.G. Mor Ivaniose and assisted by Rev.Fr. Elias George, the vicar and Rev.Fr. Abraham Kattathara. The assistant vicar Rev.Fr. Sam G. Varghese was also present. The Holy Qurbono ended at 8.30AM and was followed by procession and 'nercha vilambu'. Hundreds of faithful attended the feast despite being a working day in the capital city of Kerala.
