Moller Skycar

This may only be slightly related to this site's entire theme but I felt compelled to include it for its revolutionary appeal and futuristic image. This is the M400 Skycar (Volantor), the world's first and only feasible, affordable (for everyone), personal vertical take off and landing (VTOL) vehicle developed by Moller International. It is set to replace 25% of automobiles in 10 years and up to 80-90% in around 50 years. It is more technogically advanced than any luxury sports car and more affordable than many family cars. It can be fully automated and take you directly to your destination, this is even greater when you realise it can cruise comfortably at 560km/h+, at a maximum height of 29000 ft.

A prototype's first test flight

The definition of Volantor is:

vo - lan - tor (vo-lan'ter) n. A vertical takeoff and landing aircraft that is capable of flying in a quick, nimble, and agile manner. --intr. & tr.v. -tored, -toring, tors. To go or carry by volantor. [Lat. volare, to fly. Fr. volant, to move in a nimble and agile manner ]

This is the conclusion of [this portion of] the future.
