Norbert, the funny little character in the grim reaper get-up is the mascot of Shadowlost Entertainment. Norbert was actually conceived by my girlfriend. I was drawing up concept sketches of my logo, and while I wasn't looking, she doodled a little guy on my paper. I took one look at it, and it just sort of clicked.
Maybe one day Norbert will have a place in a Gamemaker game, but for now, he remains as mysterious an icon as the funy little butterfly on MSN.
The character Norbert, the Shadowlost Entertainment logo, and the games containing the Shadowlost Entertainment Logo, are all creations of Mala'ika. I'm not too fussed about what you do with them, but I would appreciate you letting me know if you want to do something with them.
At the moment there is only one member of Shadowlost Entertainment:
Mala'ika: I am dedicated to the creation of enjoyable games and interesting ideas. I try to make my games as interesting as possible. I draw my inspiration a lot from abandonware games, and you can see the connections between a few of my games and some older ones.
My strengths lie in my concept ideas, and my stories. I don't think I am particularly brilliant at creating graphics (apart from blood effects. Just see Splatman to see what I mean) , nor am I great with sound. I am relatively profficient with Gamemaker, though I am not big on scripting, rather I prefer to make my games more arcade-like, as that is what I believe is Gamemaker's strong points.
I am looking for people with which to collaborate. If you have any ideas at all, I will be pleased to take on board anything you have to say.
