Malachowo was a village in medieval Poland

now it is a group of villages
as in the Late Middle-Ages it was divided into several parts
owned by several owners

there were three types of landownership in old Poland:
royal property, church property, and noble property,
Malachowo was a noble property, it was owned by nobility

Malachowo villages are named after the lines that owned them:

  • Malachowo-Kepe - after the Kepa-Malachowski line,
  • Malachowo-Szemborowice - after Sambor de Malachowo and his kin,
  • Malachowo-Wierzbiczany - after Wierzbieta de Malachowo and his kin,
  • Malachowo-ZlychMiejsc (="BadPlaces") is a corruption of the original name
Malachowo-ZlychMiesic (="Bad Meats") - after Peter "Zlemieso" (="Bad Meat") de Malachowo and his kin,

now there is a new part: Malachowo-webvillage :-),
it is where you are at the moment,
it is a volatile manor made of electrons and memory :-),
    welcome to Malachowo-webvillage!
