My sister, Giovanna was born on March 18, 1999. Her 1st year was full of new things for Mommy, but Mommy enjoyed Giovanna a lot. They did so many fun things together. Before Mommy knew it, Giovanna's 1st birthday was right around the corner. In the middle of all the planning, Mommy found out she was pregnant again. Everyone was really excited. They didn't tell Giovanna at first, but by the time Mommy was 6 months pregnant, they told her. Giovanna was so excited. She couldn't wait. The summer before I was born, Mommy, Daddy and Giovanna went camping a lot. Everytime they went camping, Giovanna would tell Mommy and Daddy how next year, she would bring the baby with her.
Giovanna was there when I was born. She came and kissed me right away. She is such a good big sister. She helps me with my PT, OT, Speech but especially with my Infant Development work. I'm glad I have her for a big sister.
Some of her favorite things are Blue's Clues, Sesame Street, especially Elmo, and she loves Disney movies. Mommy just bought us a movie called "Blue's Clues All Kinds of Signs." It's a movie about sign language and Giovanna is learning the signs so she can help me learn them. |
