The Review:
This is probably one of the most original and best examples of what an anime can do for music. Most people, at first glance, see this one and pass it up thinking that it's simply a rehashing of previous BGM. WRONG! This is an ORIGINAL symphony! And a damn good one at that. The music is awe inspiring and enchanting. Slovenska Philharmonic orchestra does this Magnificent World justice. Written and produced by Seikou Nagaoka and conducted by Chihiro Hayashi, you are transported to El Hazard. I particularily love the second half of track 6 "Final Crusade." If you close your eyes and let your mind wander you can actually see the Roshtarians, The Bugrom, the Phantom Tribe and Ifurita all converging on the battlefield while the Eye of God hangs menacingly in the sky. If you are looking for the perfect gift for an El Hazard, Classical Music, or Anime fan in general, then pick this up. And pick up one for yourself while you're at it, you won't regret it.
Why Get It?
Well, the first reason is that it's almost entirely NEW music! It's not a remake, it's music INSPIRED by El Hazard(with the exception of track 1.) Even if Classical isn't your 'cup of tea,' I think you'll like this.
