The Review:

The very first El Hazard CD. It includes what you would expect the first OST to have, and then some. The Radio Dramas featuring our favorite priestesses, along with Makoto and Nanami are quite humorous.(In fact, it sounds like Shayla punches out Makoto TWICE! It includes the extended version of the opening theme. the closing theme 'BOYS BE FREE' plus a few pieces of the most important BGM, mainly Ifurita, whose theme is both sad and triumphant. However, the real treat of this CD is the three bonus songs sung by the Muldoon Priestesses. I love them all, but Afura's stands out as my absolute fav, not of just the three, but of all the Character songs in the entire collection. Her voice is elegant and sweet and the melody is the same. This is the CD that no El Hazard fan cannot have, and if you don't go pick it up.

Why Get It?

Well, the Opening and Closing themes are reason enough. These are two tracks that every El Hazard fan worth their salt can hum on command. However if you're looking for another reason, then Afura's Song, once heard, will haunt your mind for days to come.
