Mina stopped her training to run over and check on her. Mina tried to help her up, but Haruka just lay on the ground in the fetal position, crying. Everybody else ran up and stood around in awe. All that was heard was Haruka's whimpering of Michiru's name. Kusso sat in his throne and shook his head. He and Salla knew that something needed to be done about Michiru, but Salla was going about this in this wrong way. Here she was about to blast Michiru out of existence, yet she thought nothing about the possible repercussions. Salla was going to bring down a vengeance on herself that will never compare to what she wanted for herself. Salla may be avenging the death of friends, but Sailor Uranus will be avenging her lover. Shadowhawk stood over Michiru in a mocking way that caused Michiru to spit back at Shadowhawk. Salla's smile twisted into a scowl. She looked down on Michiru and said, "That was the wrong move, honey." She took a deep breath. As Shadowhawk was about to yell her attack and hit Michiru at point blank range, Kusso jumped up from his throne and was next to Salla so fast she couldn't believe it. "That was the wrong move." Then he threw her across the room. Kusso ordered the guards to return Michiru to her cell. He walked across the room and stood over the shrunken Shadowhawk. "You idiot! You have no idea the havoc you almost wrought! Get out of my presence, out!!!" The guards came and help Salla to her feet. They then escorted her back to her quarters. Kusso slowly returned to place on his throne. It was then that he realized that Comet and Ice were still in the room. He stared at the shivering girls. They stood in the place they had earlier, but they were clinging to each other. "I want you two to listen to what I'm about to say very closely. You are to forget everything you heard from Salla, is that clear?" They nodded mutely. "And you are to follow the orders I gave before she entered this room, with one exception. I want the Neo-Starlights back. But there is an addition to that as well. You will bring me the Starlights and their wives, too. At least, the two called Star Fighter and Star Healer and their wives." Sailor Cosmos had come once again, this time to help with Haruka. Haruka passed out while everyone had watched. Mina continued to watch helplessly as Seiya carried her to a couch in the house, and everyone else began to rush around and do stuff for her. Mina ended up being the one to stay with as Seiya fetched Sailor Cosmos. This time Sailor Cosmos was genuinely worried. She questioned everyone about what was heard and witnessed. Everyone gave the same, basic, correct story. Sailor Cosmos finally reached a conclusion, told it to everyone then left. Before she left, she told everyone: "Haruka was sensing the danger that Michiru was in. being captive of Kusso, they probably were threatening her life to get back at you for killing two of the New Moon Senshi. Haruka sensed this, then she either passed out when Michiru was saved... or killed." Then she left just as mysteriously as she always came. Kusso approached the place where Michiru was being held. He hated this place, but he always told himself that if it wasn't good enough for him to even come here, then it wasn't good enough to hold prisoners for long periods of time. So he forced himself down there every now and then. Kusso had the guard unlock the door. He took a lantern from a rack outside the door and lit it. Kusso opened the door to Michiru's cell and shined the light on her. He loved to watch as the people flinched from being unaccustomed to light. Michiru stared at him unblinkingly though. She just loved to balk him at every turn... well, he had saved her life! He felt that she should at least pay him some respect... "Michiru, I would be willing to give you more comfortable quarters if you will just cooperate with me. Are you going to cooperate?" "My only regret..." she said as she glared at him defiantly, "...is that you didn't let Salla kill me! If you had, then I wouldn't have to rot in here!" Kusso just looked at her. "Do you ever want to see Sailor Uranus again?" Michiru almost broke. Her eyes filled with tears, and her lower lip quivered. Then Kusso, saw something in her eyes change. Her face became a rock as she answered, "She'll understand." Eventually Haruka woke up as if from a dream. When she awoke, she spoke of how they may never see Michiru again. "Is she dead?" Mina asked, frightened. "No, but she may not be left alive much longer..." "Haruka, how do you know this?" Mako asked suspiciously. "I don't... know..." Then she went back to sleep. They gathered more blankets for her as she complained of being too hot, or took them away as she spoke of being cold. They helped to keep her comfortable as possible. Chapter 2 "I want to get away for a little while!" "Mina! You heard everything that's been going on recently... the final battle is near! We can't just up and leave!" "Oh, but Seiya, it's just that everything is becoming so strained. Everyone's tension levels are way up. We need a break... I mean, we can't let our guard down, but we got to find a way to relax, or else we won't be able to handle the final battle!" "Yaten, don't you think that we could use a vacation? We don't have to go for or for very long, but Sailor Cosmos is about to drive me up the wall with her training!" "Mako! How could you suggest such a thing! We are about to fight the most important battle of our lives, and you want a vacation?!" "Comet... what did you do?" "Oh, don't worry sister Ice! I just strategically positioned travel brochures around those that we are to abduct. If we can get them to take a group vacation, then it will be easier to abduct them! Duh." "Look Ai, I don't care how tired we are! We are the Neo-Starlights! If the final battle comes we will be greatly needed! We cannot just up and leave on some whim of yours!" Ashita filled in for her sister, "Ah, but that's the beauty of it! We already discussed this with our mother and yours! We all agree that it would be good for us to get away. Besides, haven't you been wanting to spend more time with your mother? Well our fathers finally gave in and they want to come too! We can all finally spend some time together!" Kirei looked at the ground. She didn't like this one bit. If they went, it would leave the Senshi divided into two groups. But she did want to spend more time with her mother... and they wouldn't be going that far... maybe she should stop being such a bitch just this once and give in... "Well, aren't we all feeling much better?!" Mina exclaimed. She was so happy. She sat back in her airplane seat next to Seiya's. Last time they were on an airplane, he proposed to her. As the warm and comfortable memories came, Mina snuggled up against her husband and settled into an easy rest. Mako looked over at Mina and Seiya. They were both asleep already. They looked very happy. Mako curled up to Yaten and began to feel sleepy as well. As she began to fall asleep, she saw that the girls were asleep too. She thought this was weird. As she reached unconsciousness Mako saw to girls walk out of the cockpit. They were wearing Senshi fuku similar to Starkiller's... Noooo!!!!!! This isn't right! I won't let it... Chapter 3 Sailor Cosmos paced the room. Mamoru, Usagi and the others stared and she mumbled angrily. Finally she stopped at looked at the group. "Where did they go?" She grumbled. "Uh," Usagi started, "they said they weren't going far..." Sailor Cosmos' head dropped. She stared at the ground for a full minute before she continued. "When will they return?" She asked shortly. This time Mamoru supplied the answer. "They said they'd return... before the battle..." Nobody had quite realized they're stupidity until the answers came out. They couldn't believe they had accepted those answers from the departing group. Now they all felt stupid for just continuing on as if there was nothing wrong with it. "It's been a week since they left and nobody was worried?" Everyone looked to the ground this time. They felt ashamed. Tenshi looked up. "Well, because they said they'd be back in time... we didn't... really... care?" She quickly looked back down again, when Sailor Cosmos just glared at her. "What have you brought me Sailor Comet and Sailor Ice?" "Comet! Tell our dear master what he's won!" Ice began in an easy to guess style. "Well, Ice. Kusso has won himself..." At that moment three guards escorted in seven prisoners with blindfolds on. "... a beautiful prize package including five!, yes count 'em, five Starlights! And their two mothers and wives!" The guards ripped the blindfolds off the group. Seiya glared at Kusso; Yaten yelled at Kusso; Mina shivered at the cold; Mako just stood there. Their daughters were reminded of their recent experience in the place, and they were not pleased to be back. Ai glanced at her aunt and knew that Mako was trying hard not to go ballistic. Ai thought hard... was there some reason why they were not bound? Why they still had their lockets and pens? Was there some reason that they couldn't transform here, or were her cousin's minions sheer idiots? "Did someone slap you over the head with a stupid stick?!" Sailor Cosmos demanded. "Okay... I see that I'm going about this the wrong way. Setsuna. I want you to call the local airport and find out what plane they took and where they went! Haruka, you go and get us the exact same tickets for tonight, as soon as she finds out. The rest of you... sit here and stay out of the way. We will need you later in the battle... got that Hinagiku? I know you hate to sit and do nothing... so if you really want to do something... find a game board and star a game with Tenshi, Jeremy, Taiki, Mamoru, and Usagi. Rei and Ami... come here for a second." Everyone who was told they could get up to do something did. Rei and Ami walked over to Sailor Cosmos curiously. Cosmos' voice came in a hushed whisper, "These are your arch nemeses from the future. Comet and Ice are the once to displace you as New Moon Senshi, just as Starkiller was Neo-Sailor Venus. They will be going after you in particular in this fight. They will begin to send youma after you, because not only did you kill their sisters, but they are not smart enough to realize that in the past you would not know about them having taken your positions and want revenge for it." Raye thought about this for a moment. "So we are at an advantage?" "Exactly the opposite," Ami said for Cosmos, who was about to say the same thing. "They will know our capabilities from having fought us before, and will be more prepared from being paranoid." "Ami's right, Rei. They will be a very formidable foe. I expect you to train harder, and always be on guard. Now go back and join the group playing board games. I want no one to be worried!" The same thoughts that came to Ai's mind came also to her sister's, her cousin's and her father's. Her uncle Yaten was too busy yelling at Kusso, who watched amusedly, to bother thinking anything intelligent. Mina and Mako were busy wonder what was going to happen to them, and their children... both sets. Because they were both pregnant with twins, it was blatantly obvious, even in their fourth month. "Ah, wonderful." Kusso intoned. "Now, what to do with my new prizes..." Ai realized that if it were possible, this was her one shot. She had to try it now... "Ice, would you please escort Makoto Kou closer to me." Kusso eyed her appraisingly. Ice walked up to her and, when Mako glared defiantly at her, she shoved Mako in the direction of Kusso. Mako flew forward and landed on her knees at Kusso's feet. "So, this is my dear mother-in-law. Sailor Jupiter will you-" "Lover Star Power, Make Up!" Chapter 4 Everyone was sitting on the plane that the others had taken earlier. Sailor Cosmos was continuously glancing around anxiously. She was unsure of what to do; she knew that this is exactly what the others had done, but whether or not this would work, she didn't know. She hoped that she was not making a mistake this time. Everyone depended on Sailor Cosmos as if she were their pillar of support. She did not want to let them down, but she knew that in the end she would fail them. She didn't know how it would happen, just that she could not always be there for them and correct about what was happening. She also wished that she wasn't leading them into a trap. She wanted to come alone, to check everything out, but she had known how the others would have insisted they come. She needed the Neo-Starlights, Star Fighter and Star Healer, and Jupiter and Venus. How could this battle be won without them? This battle... the senshi have to face a fight without their born leader... Sailor Moon. Sailor Cosmos had to be realistic though. Sailor Moon would not be a major component in this war. She maybe the leader, but it involved others more. How could she try to make Sailor Moon understand, that when it came to the final battle, her presence would only hinder the performance of others. Sailor Cosmos continued to sit and think as the plane continued to fly on unhindered. Rei was sick of sitting around. After an hour of just flying, but not knowing the destination, she finally went to ask the flight attendant. "Excuse me, but where's this flight going?" A beautiful young girl turned around to face Rei, rather than the young flight attendant she expected. The girl smiled and shook her head. "It's a surprise!" An hour later, all of the senshi were strapped into their seats and were unable to free themselves. Several still continued to struggle, and Setsuna thought this to be fruitless. She sat and watched as these two young girls were systematically, making sure no one had their compacts, pens, or talismans. When the girl finally reached her, she just sat and glared. For a moment the girl sat perplexed. She scratched her head and stared at Setsuna. "Auntie Set... where's your Time Key?" The sister of the girl, who had previously announced herself to be "Comet," walked over and asked what was wrong. "I can't find Setsuna's Time Key. Where does she keep it anyway?" "Ice you idiot. It's not actually on her! Didn't she have carryon luggage?" Ice looked up to see a nice leather bag stashed over Setsuna's head. She thought for a second... then a few more. Finally she jumped up and grabbed the bag. Comet shook her head and walked away. Ice opened the bag... only to reveal the Time Key! She started jumping up and down. Setsuna just continued to glared at her. Usagi started to cry. If there was any moment that Setsuna had wished Usagi were more grown up, this was definitely it! Usagi started wailing and hollering. Ice and Comet both turned around to see what all the commotion was. "I want to know where we're being taken! This isn't fair! Lemme go! Where are we going?!" Comet walked straight up to her with a disgusted look on her face. Her hand flung out and there was a resounding smack heard throughout the cabin of the plane. Suddenly, everything and everyone but the motors of the plane were dead silent. All turned to stare. Usagi sat there startled. Comet finally broke the silence. "Would you shut up?! I'm so sick of your blubbering, Mother!" Everyone gasped in unison for forgetting this fact. Only Sailor Cosmos had known who these New Moon Senshi were. Usagi stared at her. "What? I don't understand? Mother? What are you talking about?" Comet sighed. "Have you always been this stupid? Now I know where Ice gets it from." Ice looked at Comet. "Huh? What do I got?? Sis tell me what I got!!!" Comet rolled her eyes. There came a noise from the back. Comet's head jerked. Cautiously she stalked into the back. She took the handle and turned it opening the door. Out fell Mamoru with the baby. Ice turned. "Ooo! He's cute, who is he???" Comet whirled and hit Ice. "He's our father you idiot!" Ice had a blank stare. "He is?" "Yes!" "Oh, he's still cute." Rei started to laugh. Comet turned to Ice and told her to shut Rei up. Ice went over to Rei and blankly stared at her. "Sis! What am I supposed to do?" Comet hung her head down and sighed. Kusso looked at Ai. "It won't work here little girl." Salla laughed. Kusso shot her a stare that made her think of all the times her father gave her that look. She shut up immediately. Kusso looked back at Mako. "Mother-in-law... nice ring to it, don't you think Makoto?" "No!" She spat. Yaten, who was standing next to Mako, looked at her. "Mako, please try to keep calm." "Calm! I am calm you idiot! If I weren't calm I'd be ripping his throat out!" "Who are you calling an idiot?! Mako that's not fair!" "Fair! What the HELL do you want me to be fair about?!" "Mako please calm down!" "I already told you I am calm!" "ARE NOT!" "AM TOO!" "NO YOU AREN'T!" "I SAID I WAS CALM SO THAT MEANS I'M CALM!!!" Seiya and Mina were shaking their heads. Kusso looked back and forth between his arguing in-laws. "Hell-o! I was the one speaking here! You're my captives! You have to listen to me!!" Mako and Yaten turned to Kusso at the same time. "SHUT UP!!" They screamed. Kusso sat stunned. No one had ever, EVER told him, HIM, to shut up. They told the almighty Kusso to shut up!! How dare they! "Now look here-" Mako frustrated, turned to Kusso, "Look here! I told you to shut up and as long as I'm YOUR mother-in-law when I tell you to do something, you'll do it! You understand!?" Kusso got silent. He cast his eyes downward. "Yes mother." And no one heard him mumble: "Oh great, I now know where my wife gets her attitude..." Chapter 5 Comet picked up the crying baby. She looked at Mamoru, whom she'd just strapped into the chair. "My brother was quite a cute baby ne?" Ice stared at her sister. "Yea! I wanna hold him!!" Comet laughed. "You might drop him! I wouldn't want that to happen. All those times he stood up for me..." She sighed. Ice, by her expression, obviously had absolutely no idea what she was talking about. She took after her mother in that respect. She looked as though she was trying to get it, but just couldn't. She sat down in the seat next to Usagi. "Momma, what's she talking about?" Usagi stared at her. "Huh? I don't understand!" "Of course you don't understand, mother! Our childhood is still to be the future for you! As for you, dear sister, I wouldn't expect you to realize sarcasm when you hear it." Comet shook her head and walked off. "Usako," came Mamoru's desperately whispered call, "don't worry. I won't let them do anything to you or Tsuyoi... no matter what it takes to stop them." After the commotion died down, Kusso had all of his guests escorted to their own separately guarded chambers. He sat on his thrown and shook his head. He just couldn't get over the way events had transpired earlier... It was a complete disaster! He couldn't intimidate Makoto if she had outside influences. He would have to see her in private. He couldn't think of anything else to do. "I would still like to know where we are going." Rei muttered. "What?! What's that you're asking about? Destination? Well... all passengers listen up! Destination: unknown!" "But, Sis, I thought you planned to send this thing to the bottom of the ocean! You kept bragging about it all last week!" Comet hung her head once again. She couldn't even act mean, without her idiot sister undermining her... on accident nonetheless! "You idiot! I told you to stop talking two hours ago! Just go and... sit in that corner," she pointed, "GO! I want you to face it and ignore everything that goes on around you until I tap your shoulder." Ice did as she was told. Comet was about to leave the cabin of the plane, when her mother began to cry. "I don't wanna go into the ocean! Why do we have to go there, Mamoru?!" "Ooo... SHUT UP!!! I'm sick of it! Look, we can't afford to have you get in our way during the final battle, therefore... you have to die!" Then Comet left the room. Usagi just started crying harder. Kusso nodded to the guard, and was admitted inside. He waited in the ante-chamber to Mako's quarters. She walked into the waiting room, looked Kusso squarely in the eye, and asked him a question point-blank. "Why can I not see my husband? If you couldn't tell, I'm pretty pregnant, and I want to get as much sex in as possible, while I still can... we are technically newly-weds, you know." Kusso was once again shocked by his mother-in-law. Yet he had the feeling that if they were not on opposite sides, they would get along pretty well. "You are, um, not allowed to see him because I think that contact could leave the way open for plotting... against me. And truthfully, I do not want that. Tell me mother, would you let your enemies talk amongst themselves, if you could prevent it?" "I DON'T CARE!! Maybe you didn't hear me before, but I'm horny as hell, and I want to see my husband!" "Where's Kusso!? I want to talk to Kusso!" The guard tried to maintain his position outside Mina's door. She began to bang on the door. The guard could not determine the instrument she was using, but it sounded metal. He turned around, opened the door, and moved fast. The chair went flying out of Mina's hand. She just stood there shocked and stared at the guard who had ducked. Regaining her senses, Mina began to shout and forced her way out of the room. "I want to talk to Kusso! He says we're his guests, as if this is a hotel or something. If that's the way he intends it, he should act more like it!" "Miss-" "Misses!!!!" "Um, yea, ma'am... I'm just a guard. I can't do anything! If Kusso comes, he'll come, but I can't make him." "Kusso!!!!!" Mina began to walk down the hallway, shouting. "Ma'am! You can't just walk off! I'll get in trouble!" Seiya sat in his room and brooded. What was he going to do to get out of this mess? His sat and thought some more, when suddenly his thoughts were interrupted but what sounded like Mina shouting: "Where's Kusso?! I want to see Kusso! Tell him that I need to see my husband!" Seiya got up and walked to his door. How was he going to explain this to their daughters... "I wanna see my husband! You tell Kusso that I'm horny, and unless he plans to do something about it, he better let me see my husband!" Seiya shook his hung head, then shouted back to Mina. In two seconds she had forced the guard away from his door and was in his embrace within his quarters. The guards silently shut the door on the couple. Chapter 6 Kusso sat on his thrown and shook his head. He couldn't believe the way things were going. Things were really getting out of control. The prisoners... guests were not supposed to see each other. Yet Yaten and Mako, and Seiya and Mina were together. Who knew what they were planning at this moment. Everything was almost ruined! Luckily Comet and Ice were still doing as they were supposed to. "NO! NO! NO! Gimme it back!!!!!!!!" "No, now shut up brat!" "I'm not a brat! Sis tell her I'm not a brat!" "Why? But you are a brat." "I am? But I thought I was a Tsukino." Comet sighed. Her sister would never get anything. "Sis, where's Salla? I thought you said she would be here." "She's not coming." "But you said-" "SHUT UP!" "Ok." Ice turned back to Rei who was holding the baby. "Gimme it back!" "It's his toy!" "I want it!!" Comet turned and walked back to her parents. She noticed Usagi was crying. "Why are you crying this time mother?" she asked. "I want to sit by Mamoru and hold my baby!" "I'm sorry(no I'm not) but I can't allow that." "Why?" Ice popped up behind Comet. "Because she can't find your transformation locket!" Usagi appeared startled. Comet's eyes widened. Usagi looked down to where her locket usually was and it wasn't there. She didn't understand. Where was it? Comet slapped Ice. "You idiot!" Ice started to cry and went straight into her mothers arms. "Momma, tell her not to be mean!" Usagi tried to comfort her daughter. She looked up at Comet. "Why do you have to be so mean to your sister?" Comet appeared startled again. She turned and left. "Ice, honey, could you please untie me? It'd be so much easier to hold you." "Ok momma." Ice proceeded to untie Usagi. Usagi held onto Ice for a little while and managed to lull her to sleep. Usako got up and untied Mamoru. They proceeded to untie everyone else in the plane. Rei gave Mamoru the baby. Mamoru noticed something in the baby's hands. It was Usako's locket. At any moment, Kusso knew that the plane would be plunged into the sea; effectively killing any unnecessary opposition. Especially those nuisances, Sailor Moon and Sailor Cosmos. For a while he almost thought that Comet and Ice wouldn't be able to pull it off, but Comet was the only one of the New Moon Senshi who could even come close to Salla's intelligence. If she couldn't succeed, there was very little hope for him and his wife to ever do so. That was why he needed to develop a backup plan... hmm... he couldn't rely on anyone else's smarts on this but his own. He needed a plan that could eliminate Sailor Moon, the Senshi, the Starlights, and the Neo-Starlights. Chapter 7 Ice slowly awoke. At first everything was blurry, then she straightened her head, only to notice that she was tied down. She began to scream, but no sound emitted from her mouth but muffled whimpers. She lay her head back on her shoulders when she realized that her sister probably would not hear her. Ice began to cry. She never wanted to do this to her mother; her sister bullied her into it. She hated Comet. If she had never hated her before, in that moment Ice knew that she now hated her sister more viscously than she ever had anyone else. She was determined that from this moment on she would never bend to her sisters will again. As a matter-of-fact, she planned to do exactly the opposite. Ice began to produce the best yells possible, so someone would notice she was awake. Next thing she knew, she was face to face with Rei. "Are you going to be nice and quite for auntie Rei, so when she removes this thing covering your mouth, she can let you talk to her?" She said sweetly. Ice nodded emphatically. "Good! Tenshi! Our sweet, little captive is ready to talk!" "What?!" "I said you better check the monitors we placed on the plane. You realize that it should be at the bottom of the ocean by now. Why don't you figure out why it isn't there yet?" Salla said sarcastically. Kusso grumbled to himself as he walked over to the view screens. He turned them on with the quick movement of a hand and stood back. "Yes! Yes! I want to talk!" Came Ice's voice from the screen before Kusso. "Good! You're such a good, sweet, little girl, Ice," Rei coaxed. Kusso's head snapped up. He looked Salla in the eyes. "What's the meaning of this?!" "Huh?" She asked serenely. "You don't actually hold me responsible for this, do you?!" "Of course, I do! They are your girls! The New Moon Senshi are directly under your supervision," he gritted his words through his teeth, "and therefore, if they screw up, YOU SCREW UP!" Salla stood there mouth agape. She could not believe what he was saying! "Ah. I see, you think that just because of the fact that they report directly to me, I can prevent them from defecting?!" "Just as Ice is about to do. If she betrays me, you betray me. You may dole out what ever punishment you want to her, but when you betray me... when my wife betrays me, I take it as a very big insult and retaliate to the fullest. Do you understand me?" Salla turned and left the room. Tenshi walked up to Rei and Ice. "Hon, we need something else to call you. What name did Usa-you're mother give you?" "K...Kori," she stuttered. "Kori?" Ice nodded. "Well, Kori, lets get you to come sit down and have a bite to eat. Then you can tell everything to me, okay?" "But what about Suisei?" "Who? Oh, you mean Comet? Well, we'll just keep her occupied a little longer. Now what you have to realize is this..." Tenshi put her arm around Kori and began walking her to were everyone else was congregated. "... we may have to use you to get off this plane. What ever we do, it doesn't mean that we do not love you. You must always believe that we love you, and it hurts us deeply to do whatever we have to do. Do you understand what we've said so far?" "You have to sacrifice me for the greater good of saving the universe. You don't know that I won't be swayed back to the other side in the final battle, so I am a necessary loss." Tenshi stopped dead in her tracks. "You aren't quite as dumb as... you're sister thought." "Nor you." Kusso watched what was happening in dismay. That little idiot wasn't such an idiot. He knew now that the scouts planned to kill off the last of the New Moon Senshi. He couldn't believe that Ice was actually willing to die for it too. He knew one way he could take care of this. Kusso walked over to the microphone that allowed him to speak to the cockpit of the plane. "Comet!" Comet spun around. She was suddenly face to face with an image of Kusso. Her mouth made a cute little o, and her head suddenly went down. Her hair covered her eyes from Kusso's sight. She knew that she was behind schedule. "Yes?" Kusso glared malevolently at her. "Why have you not yet killed the Senshi? Do you know what they are doing in there?" "I... well, there's been a delay..." then the full of his words hit her. Her head snapped up, "No. What are they doing in there?!" "Go and see for yourself," Then the screen went black. Comet hung her head once more. She thought for a moment, Why would Kusso say that? Her sister was probably screwing up again... Everyone was back in their seats, pretending to still be strapped in. When Comet walked out of the cockpit, she was none the wiser. Ice strode forward and went into some scene that caused her sister to actually believe that she had grown more stupid in the last hour and a half. Comet looked around at everyone and they all looked like the same dejected, hopeless Senshi. She was about to walk out of the room, when she saw a glitter out of the corner of her eye. She swung around to face her mother, who, to Comet's dismay, had her compact and was not strapped in! Kusso watched the scene play out with disappointment. Comet was more of an idiot than he had thought. He watched as she realized what was going on. But the moment her realization was noticeable, Mamoru jumped up and grabbed his other daughter. Comet's head moved in that direction, and she was so distracted by it, that Usagi transformed into Sailor Moon. "Moon Eternal, Make Up!" Chapter 8 "Uh, Mina, do you really think it'll work?" "Of course! Mako thought of it first." "Oh, ok. I guess if it's Mako's plan-" "What's that supposed to mean?!" "Nothing, I swear!" "Well you were all cynical when it was my plan, and now that it's Mako's plan you...you...!" "Mina, please calm down, it's just that Mako could probably pull this off easier than you, after all, Salla is her daughter." Mina looked at Seiya. "Oh yea!" "Mako, are you sure this will work?" "Of course not stupid! If I were absolutely certain it would work, I would've done it sooner!" "Stupid! Who are you calling stupid! I'm the one who gave you the idea for this plan!" "So? I'm still the one who worked it out!" "Mako, I worry about you sometimes." "Why?" "Because you irritate the hell outta me." "Good!" "I'm not so sure about this Ai..." "Well your mom thought of it!" Ashita sat and watched as they began discuss the probability of the plan working. Ashita, the math-whiz, thought they're chances were 10-1... not very good... "Isn't that right Ashita?" Ai looked at her sister. "Ashita?" "Huh? Oh! Yea I guess so." Kirei looked at her cousin. "Your brain cells are oozing out of you head." "Are not, and besides, I was just calculating the odds of this plan." "And?" Kirei asked. "And they're not so good." "I don't think I want to know." Ai said. "Me either." Kirei said looking at Ai. "But we have to do something. I'm not going to just sit here and let all the action go on without me." "You sound just like your father, Kirei." Ashita put in. "So? Is that a bad thing?" Kirei thought back. "Never mind that statement! Well what are we to do? Maybe..." "Cool it." "I'm already cold. I don't need to be any colder." "Very funny Kirei." "I thought so, Ai." There was a crack and a rustling sound. All three girls turned. Their eyes were wide. Pretending not to hear they continued. "Well Kirei, you do have a weird sense of humor." "Get it from my dad." "We've noticed." "Nahh!" Kirei stuck her tongue out at her cousins. "Back to the plan." Ashita said. "Must we do what the instructions say? I wanna fight!" "You're so immature, Kirei." "NOT!" Salla came out of the shadows, she had been listening to the whole conversation. Swiftly she went upstairs to tell Kusso what she had overheard. She hesitated. What if he gets mad that I didn't find out what this plan is? Oh well. She ran as fast as she could. Chapter 9 Comet was stunned. She was staring directly at Sailor Moon. Her mother. She was furious! How could this happen! She stared at Ice. "What have you done?! You idiot! I can't believe this!" Comet was almost in tears. "How could you not only let them all loose and get captured?! You're so stupid!" Mamoru stared at her. She fell to her knees, then looked up at her father. It was then that she realized he was Tuxedo Kamen. Her sister was not the stupid one, it was her. I looked right at him when he was seated, and never noticed that he was Kamen... perhaps I didn't want to see... plus I was the one that left Kori in here alone... "Just one question father..." Mamoru raised his eyebrows in askance. Suisei smiled. "You would never tell me when I was younger... how do you transform? You have no compact, no pen... how could I have stopped you?" Mamoru smiled. "Go to sleep now, and you won't notice a thing." Suisei started to cry, then everything went black. "What did you do to her?" Kori asked after Suisei had been out for a good ten minutes. Mamoru just glanced at his other daughter. He didn't want to do this to her... but it was necessary... Kori continued to look to her father, then everything went black. "So, what did you do to them? And what are we going to do with them? They can't stay that way forever..." Usako started to trail off. "Can they?" Rei finished for her. She walked up holding Tsuyoi. Mamoru just looked at them both. "And how do you henshin?! You never told me before!" Usako cried out. "Will." "What did you do to the kids? How did you do that to them?" Tenshi asked. "Will." "What will we do to them? Do we have to hurt them?" Hinagiku asked. "No," Cosmos answered for him. "From this point on they will not feel a thing. But we will be forced to kill them. They will not stay like this forever, and they will turn against us in the final, no matter how much they wish to be on our side." They all looked to the ground. They felt that Kori was a sweet girl who did not deserve to die. "They only reason why Kori was on our side momentarily, was because of the influence of her mother. As I held her, I could feel her slipping back, because the influence of her sister was greater. No matter her wishes, she was destined to be evil." Mamoru finished. "Noooooo!!!!!!!" Kusso yelled. He began to throw things across his throne room. He went into a blind rage that prevented Salla from telling him that the others had a plan for escape. He began to pick up huge stones and throw them at her, all the time yelling obscenities and placing blame. "Now you all need to concentrate on the task at hand. You must use your energy to push them back into their own time. This must work, if we are not going to kill them." Salla ran from the room. There was one thing left for her to do. She was going to have to get on that plane and take care of things herself. Then she would show Kusso that she could be trusted. Salla ran to the room that contained the portal onto the airplane. Because the plane was not exactly in the same dimension, this was possible. She suddenly found herself in the "cockpit" of the plane. She was going to make this thing go down, then she was getting outta here! But first, she wanted to see what was going on in the other room. She wanted to know if her senshi were dead yet. She would just peak, then she would send this thing into what ever void lay below. Salla peaked her head out the door. Her senshi were not dead! They were surrounded by a circle of the original Senshi, and Sailor Cosmos was instructing them in an odd ritual. She seemed to be directing the Senshi in how to send Comet and Ice back to their own time. Damn her! Cosmos suddenly sensed evil in the room. She now knew that their plan would not work, and the Senshi would have to kill the rest of the New Moon Senshi. Cosmos looked in the direction of the cockpit. She already knew what she would find... Salla's eyes went wide. Cosmos knew! She tried to close the door but it jammed in place. Sailor Cosmos walked over to the door and threw it open. Hey! Why'd it work for her?! All of the Senshi stopped what they were doing to pay attention to Sailor Cosmos. She walked across the room, confusing most of them. "No! We've lost our concentration!" Darien yelled out. Sailor Cosmos threw open the door to the cockpit then whirled back around. "Don't loose your concentration, or we'll be forced to kill them!" Sailor Cosmos stared at the scene before her. The widow of the cockpit showed her and empty void beyond. Salla stood in the corner of the room half frozen. "What are you going to do?" She asked Salla cautiously. "No, what are you going to do with my senshi?!" "Leave now, unless you want to share their fate..." "You kill me and you kill your precious Neo-Starlights, whom I happen to have..." Salla retorted. Before Sailor Cosmos could respond, Salla turned and reappeared next to Comet and Ice. Chapter 10 Comet opened her eyes just a crack. Salla? She started to sit up. "Salla?" Everyone turned. Ice moaned. "Salla is that you?" Salla, startled, looked at Comet. "Yes, I'm here to get you out!" Cosmos' eyes went wide. She turned to the other senshi. "It's too late! We must kill them now." Ice sat up. "Salla? Comet? What's going on?" Salla looked at Ice. "I'm here to take you home." "Salla, what-" Cosmos shouted something at Mamoru. He nodded. Salla looked at them. She knew what was going to happen. "NO!! SHADOWHAWK MAKE UP!" Salla henshined. Everyone stared at her. No longer Salla, but Sailor Shadowhawk. Ice and Comet smiled. She would get them home. "MAKER STAR POWER, MAKE UP!" Everyone started to henshin. Shadowhawk turned in the circle. She was surrounded by Sailor Senshi. Although she had no qualms about killing one senshi, this was too many. "Well my fellow senshi, I'd like to stay and chat, but as seeing the only ones you want dead are them, I'm not going to stay." Comet's eyes went wide. "Salla what do you mean?! I thought you were going to save us!" Shadowhawk smiled. "Sorry girls, I know we're family, but I know a lost cause when I see one. And you seem very lost." "NO! DON'T LEAVE US!" Shadowhawk smiled. "Cousin, cousin, I'd really like to stay but I have my parents to worry about." With that, she vanished. Comet and Ice stared up at the transformed senshi. Five minutes later, with no end in sight for the silence, Suisei decided she wasn't going out lying down. She jumped to her feet and her sister followed suit. "New Moon Senshi, Sailor Comet, Make Up!" "New Moon Senshi, Sailor Ice, Make Up!" After the were done with their henshin, all of the Senshi stared at them. Everyone was waiting for the first move. Comet and Ice didn't want to harm their parents, and their parents didn't want to hurt them. Comet finally made her mind up. No one would believe that they defected, so there was only one course of action. "Fire Storm Blast!" Comet yelled. If this was gonna work, her sister would have to use her complimentary attack! "Hail Storm Blast!" All of the Senshi stood and stared. They knew they had to counter the attack... "STAR GENTLE UTERUS!" All of the rest of the Senshi followed suit once again. Sailor Comet and Ice fell to their knees. Slowly they slumped forward. Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen ran forward to their daughters. They cradled and held them until they were gone. Salla walked up to Kusso's throne. She bent into a deep kneel before him. She was about to apologize for her mistakes and beg forgiveness. But she was rudely interrupted when her mother barged into the room. "What happened?! I want to know what happened to the Senshi!" "Huh?" Kusso looked up. "Hmm... why don't you go lay down, Mother. I wouldn't want anything to happen to my future wife, while she's still in your womb." "Oh... and speaking of which... I WANT GRANDCHILDREN!"
