My History
(as if anyone cares)
Growing up amongst the peanut fields of eastern North Carolina in the 60's, I was literally surrounded by Muscle Cars.  In the late 60's-early 70's there was a Chevelle in this driveway, a Road Runner in that driveway, and a couple more out back up on blocks, along with a Hemi hanging from the nearby oak tree.  My best buddy, growing up, called me one afternoon in 73, told me to look out my front window in a few minutes.  I did, and thought King Petty was coming up the driveway.  My buddy's Dad had just bought him a bright orange Plymouth Superbird. He, me and 3 friends hit 146mph going to school one morning in the "Bird".  The Bird sits, to this day, in a small corrugated metal barn behind my buddys closed up Exxon station, back in my hometown in NC!!!  I dont think it has run since the late 70's.

My passion was stirred one day, when a bunch of us were hanging out at the local burger joint, doing what groups of kids do on a hot humid summer afternoon.  Across the lot I spied a small Navy Blue convertible that I thought was the best looking car I had ever seen.  Turned out it was a Triumph TR6, and I just loved it!  Well I ended up with a Spitfire in college.  I had to wait 30 yrs for my TR6, but finally got one in 2001.
I still have the TR, it is a blast to drive and virtually trouble free!!  And, by the way, its all original, never even been painted!
