I can't imagine how dull your life must be to want to learn more about mine, but seeing as how you took the time to visit this page, I will take the time to indulge you.
My name is Lydia, but when online or around others of my spiritual following, I'm usually known as Prairieghost.  At present time, I'm 20 years old and living in Kansas with my parents, five dogs, four cats, ball python, aquarium full of fish, a few dozen giant Madadascar hissing cockaroaches, and, as you can probably see from the picture, an albino ferret named Casper.
I'm an independent artist at the time being, looking to find a career where I can do what I love and make a living at the same time--something that is very hard to come by in rural Kansas.  So I'm planning to move, and the already daunting task is made all the more difficult by the fact I have no funds to get me to where I'm going.  If you haven't already, I'd appreciate you taking a look at my Quest page--it has all the details about my prospected move and how you can get pretty artses for helping me on my way.
I'm also a writer, and my current big project is my Samurai Jack fanfiction.  This may turn out to be the first literary project I actually finish that wasn't a school assignment.  Some future projects I have in mind are The Biography of a White Tiger, a record of the life and lessons of my little brother, now deceased, and Red Coyote, a story about humanity's plight and the beings sent to aide us in a time of serious crisis.
Some of my other hobbies/potential careers include making beaded jewelry, interior decorating, crystal magic, website design, and spirituality.  I'm also a musician, playing Native American flute, Celtic ocarina, and electronic keyboard.  I sing to, but not typically in an event where anyone else can hear me.
I love anime and thought-provoking Western animation as well (which is harder to come by, sadly.)  Obviously, I adore Samurai Jack, but other good series would include Batman Beyond, Teen Titans, and, depending on my mood, Kim Possible. (Don't laugh--Ron's adorable!)  Some anime I greatly enjoy are Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Beebop, Escaflowne the Movie, and Spirited Away.  Live action films/series that I enjoy include Dear God, Matrix, The Terminal, Labyrinth, Lady Hawk, Legend, Dogma, Firefly (series), and AVP.
Music-wise, I listen to everything from classical Mozart, to classic rock.  I am just as likely to be listening to traditional Native American flute as a Techno-rave beat, and I often have mix CD's with both new age ambient and modern rock on them.  My favorites range from Michael Thomas Berkley (ambient New Age) to Gwen Stefani (If I was a rich girl, nananananananana....)  I'm pretty much resigned to the fact now that no matter what I listen to, people are going to give me funny looks, so I just listen anyway.
Spiritually, I'm best described as a neo-Pagan, though it's much harder to specify what I am from there.  My journey is a fairly lonely one, particularly since my brother's death, and so I focus on self-awareness rather than trying to define the universe around me.  I believe that no one is perfect, and everyone is ignorant, so it is not my place nor anyone else's to tell another what to believe.  I will say this, however--the Great Spirit provides us all with opportunities to learn and grow.  Keep your mind, eyes, and heart open to what it has to teach us, its lessons hidden in every leaf, stone, and breeze.  Only through awareness can we achieve understanding.  Only through understanding can we achieve true spiritual fulfillment.  This holds true whether you are Christian, Buddhist, Neo-Pagan, or whatever else you may define your faith as.
