How it started

I don't know how much relevance it has, but, I first got a real serious desire to learn guitar the first time I saw the movie Crossroads. I'm not going to go into detail about the movie, but it was given five out of five stars. The music is incredible. That was when I first saw it way back in 1991.

I haven't really been playing very long and I haven't had any formal lessons ... come to think of it, I haven't had any lessons. About a month ago, I found the site that had an online tutorial. By this time, though, I had already acquired about 500 pieces. I really like Fernanod Sor ... especially as played by Andre Segovia who is one of the greatest classical guitarists of all time. Christopher Parkening and Julian Bream are right up there as well.

I don't have very much information on this page at this time, however, I do have a boatload of resources you can get to from here. Feel free to click on any of the menu items on the left. Have fun picking.

FYI: I can read standard notation and tablature, the only problem is, I don't have any notation software. So almost all of my music is in tab format. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you see a piece that you would like but cannot read Guitar Pro files, drop me an email and I will send it in Acrobat format.
