| Makino Tsukushi: The heroine of the story, Makino, a poor girl who earned her way into the elite high school Eitoku Gakuen. She becomes entwined in a love-hate relationship with Doumyouji and the other F4 members, and finds herself the target of the entire student body. |
| Doumyouji Tsukasa: Tsukasa is the leader of the F4. He has a short temper and tends to be violent. He comes from a very rich and powerful family. He finds himself falling in love with Makino. Tsukasa is definately my all time favourite Anime character. What's not to love, just look at that face. What a hunk!!! |
| Hanazawa Rui: Hanazawa-san, also a member of the F4, is seemingly different than the other members. He is very quiet and withdrawn. Unlike Tsukasa, he does not get any pleasure in the downfall of others. Makino is immediately attracted to Rui. He has been Tsukasa's best friend since childhood. |
| Nishikado Soujirou: Yet another member of the F4. Nishikado has the reputation of playboy. He has many girlfriends at any one time. He is usually found hanging around with Akira. Nishikado enjoys teasing Makino and Doumyouji, he adds quite a bit of comic relief to the series. Another good looking man. |
| Mimasaka Akira: The final member of the F4, Akira prefers to date older women. He along with Nishikado, love to torture Makino and Doumyouji. I personally prefer it when his hair is tied back or when he sports a baseball cap. |
