TENTATIVE MONTHLY TOPICS
You learn the importance of taking care of yourself,  priming your pump as a first step in the process of creating marital solidarity.  A caved-in, burnt-out wife is in no shape to improve her relationship with her husband.  We prime our pump by pouring in the ingredients needed to kick-start our creative side--rest, pampering, quiet reflection, fun.  Thus, fully primed, she may begin creating the marriage of her dreams.  The year is previewed throughout the month, allowing the curious to jump ahead if they so desire.  As a result you will come to realize the you hold in your hand the key to creating greater solidarity with your spouse.  You can insert the key in the lock and turn it, unlocking the secrets to marital solidarity, or you can put the key back in your pocket and continue on the frenetic path you have been following.
January:
You will be encouraged to create a lifestyle that includes adequate rest and a regular quiet time.  With these in place, you can move easily avoid dry spells where we have nothing to bring to the union.  In this environment, your creativity will blossom.  We'll include some sensual ideas for creating a Valentine's Day your husband will never forget.  You either, for that matter!
February:
We'll nurture our bodies this month through our choices in food, exercise and cleanliness.  Our senses of taste and smell are, by far, the most potent of our five senses in terms of their having a direct connection to our brain.  Aromatherapy will be explored as a potent aphrodisiac, a relaxant, a stimulant--whatever your marital situation suggests.  Spring cleaning via personal hygiene and in our homemaking will be considered.  This will lead us to wipe away some cobwebs, literally and emotionally, as we strive to create a closer bond as a couple.  Since the Easter Bunny is the symbol of fertility, we'll touch on parenting and its effect on your marriage.
March:
Meditation, prayer and family rituals will be explored this month.  Do you include God as a third party in your marriage?  Could your marriage benefit from prayer?
April:
We'll strive to gain or regain a sense of balance this month in the areas of time, money, energy and emotions.  Once we understand our priorities, we can focus on them rather than the other 199 things that demand our attention each day.  We'll give some serious thought to our callings--the paths for which we were created.
May:
Let's create some intimacy.  What blocks stand between you and your husband?  Forgiveness, respect and honesty all play into this area.  Can intimacy be reestablished once trust has been violated?
June:
Let's explore some areas where you and your husband can share a common interest.  Let's have fun!  Let's laugh together!  We'll share some creative dating ideas, co-op babysitting suggestions and other ideas that allow you some much-needed privacy as a couple.
July:
Our homes, and especially our bedrooms can reflect our very essence as a woman.  We'll create a comfortable nest this month.  If you think about it, what work is greater than creating and maintaining the very center of human life, a home?  If you instinctively run for the broom and toss everything in sight under the sofa cushion when you see headlights in the driveway, this month is for you.  Plus, we have some absolutely fabulous ideas for an enticing bedroom makeover.
August:
Sometimes, your marriage rises and falls on communication.  Maybe all the time?  Our hurtful words can destroy a marvelous marriage faster than we could ever rebuild it.  What does your sex life communicate?  How do you communicate DURING sex?  Our personal appearance and the appearance of our homes speak volumes too.  Are you listening?
September:
Resiliency is a crucial quality found in all long-term marriages.  How does change and crisis affect your intimacy as a couple?  How important is it to have your own friends or to have friends as a couple?  Could you benefit from a mentor?  What relationships outside your marriage affect your resiliency as a couple?  How do you handle extended family?  What is your hospitality quotient?
October:
This month of Thanksgiving, we pause to explore some fundamental financial principles.  If we center on our lack rather than counting our blessings, it will affect our sense of wellbeing.  The holidays are bearing down.  Are your priorities reflected in your spending habits?  Do you control your finances or are your finances controlling you?
November:
Holiday options are considered this month.  Then, we contemplate some goals for our marriage in the coming year.  There's always room for improvement as you strive to make YOUR marriage marvelous.
December:
