Something to keep in mind when you're torquing the spockets down to approximately 110 ft/lbs, the intake cam takes a 25mm wrench and the exhaust side takes a 26mm wrench.

Thing is, most wrenches this size have thick and beefy claws, which will *NOT* fit in the space between the first cam lobe and the thrust bearing.

The ones I did find that fit are a Snap-on 26mm, and a Greys 25mm, things like Mastercraft, and some other brands I don't remember won't fit. Eyeballing the Mastercraft Pro series might fit, but take measurements and be sure to keep the reciept!!!, you might be stuck with $180 worth of wrenchs you will hardley ever use.

Here is the bottom view of the car on the hoist.

The problem encountered here was with this smallish valve mounted on theback of the transmission. One of the plastic fittings snapped off during re-installation.

I can tell you now, there is no easy was of getting this part. The parts manager thought I was crazy and didn't believe me until I brought the part in. Turns out there is no Nissan part number attached to the valve, only a Hitachi number. 2 days of frustration later I got the part. I'll be posting the parts listing later, or you can just email me if you would like to know the part number.

Fill 'er up please.

A relatively smallish 16 gallon fuel cell. Then I hit another snag.

The intank Mitsubishi 3000GT fuel pump (which is a direct drop in for Nissans and Talons) will not work with this.

This fuel cell requires the use of an external fuel pump... dang.

So goes the battle, my Mitsu pump is for sale, never been used.

Will support 450+hp, direct drop in with little or no mods to fit.

email me at [email protected] for details.
