| I was nominated for a 2001 Makeup Artist andHairstylist Guild Award for Best Makeup in the Theatre catagory. It was for a show called CLOSER at the Mark Taper Forum. I lost to the LION KING. I was thrilled to be nominated and my Mom came with me to watch the awards. |

| Of Course, as a champion prorastinator, nothing is saved till the last moment. An hour and a half before we have to leave for the ceremony, you can see me here sewing my Necktie. I made my vest and Tie for my Tuxedo, and the blue wrap that my Mom wore. |

| Here we are, ready for the big awards ceremony. Yup, just me and my mom. If I'd had a date I'd have taken him, but my mom was a very nice consolation date. (By the way, she's wearing the wig that Nathan Lane wore for the big dinner party scene at the end ofThe Birdcage!) |
