Make Room For Fanny, or MRFF if you will, originaly was supposed to be punk ska, but ska riffs were hard and so we just stuck to punk. Mike Terry was just getting out of a band with chris mattson and grant hiebison. This band was a decent pop punk band but had its flaws, such as that fact that they were pop punk, and that grant and chris wouldnt dedicate to the band, or didnt want to play more hardcore music. So that band split up. Then it was Chris, Mike and Adam Gorski. This group of kids was a problem cause they didnt have a bass, and mike nor adam wanted to play bass, so they then found tyler dehn, a kid they skate with who wanted to learn bass. Now we have Chris, Mike, Adam, and Tyler, but the band wanted to play ska (which never worked) and some NOFX that had horns in the song, so we found pat whithead, another skater friend who plays trumpet. This band was together for a while, but chris never showed up to a ny practices and didnt have a good drum set at all. So every weekend chris would say, "yeah im getting my new set this weekend!" for like 3 months every weekend. And to this day still doesnt have it. So hes history. Now we just got a new addition to the band as drummer, tommy elis (correct my name spelling) who is an amazing freshman drummer at wayzata high school whos in a band already that just put out a demo CD (see tommy if you want one). This is where MRFF is today. I will update this page in more detail as soon as I can. |

Ok, Here's an update. Chris finally got his new set so we are all happy to have him back in the band. We are now Adam, Chris, Mike, and Tyler. Pat said he has learned the trumpet part on Champs Elysees so we will hopefully jam with him soon. We also found a kid named Ben who is into DJing and recording so we are probably gonna try and use his DIGITAL (Oh ya!) equpiment to make a demo sometime soon. We haven't gotten any gigs or anything yet so check back wit us lata foo. Oh ya, Mike's finally getting a new guitar! Hell yes! |
