Notes: Previously married to Elizabeth Pattinson by whom he had three
children viz Mary 1824; Elizabeth 1826 (died prior to 1833) and Elizabeth 1833.
Gabriel became a valuer & auctioneer on moving to Gateshead c1840. He is mentioned
on a number of occasions in the Minutes of the Gateshead Wesleyan Chapel - he was
a Class Leader there and many of his children
were baptised here or at other Wesleyan Chapels.
