1 1/2 cups sugar 
2 cups flour 
2 teaspoons soda 
1/2 tsp salt 
2 eggs 
1 can #303 fruit cocktail 

Mix all ingredients together. Pout into a greased and floured 9 by 13 inch pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup coconut and 1/4 cup brown sugar on top. Bake at 300 degrees about 40 minutes or until done. 

ICING:
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup canned milk
1 stick margarine 

Cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Pour on cake while hot.
