3 eggs
2 c sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 c vegetable oil
3 c flour
½ tsp salt
1 tsp soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 c chopped pecans
3 c pared, cored, chopped pears 

Beat eggs. Add sugar, vanilla and oil. Beat well. Add flour, salt, soda and cinnamon and beat well. The batter is very thick so be prepared. Add pecans and pears. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees, or until the cake tests done. You can also use a 13x9 inch pan for this cake.
