"Welcome to the "Paki" genealogy Page"

The ancestors of my husband,Stanley NakaiElua Makekau,were the "Ruling Chiefs"of the Island of Maui, Hawaii. They were of the highest blood line of the Alii. You might also recognize this picture of his great,great,great grandfather, Ku-ho'oheihei-pahu and also known as "Abner Paki" the father of Bernice Pauahi Paki Bishop.

However, my husband's line comes from Abner Paki's first wife, Chiefess Kai'ewi'Kualani - aka- Kualani from Molokai.

This is the only picture I have of my mother-in-law, Cecelia Koomeo Paki Makekau. It was taken in her later years with her husband,Abel Kelii Makekau.

1736 Kekaulike Kui-Hono-i-Ka-Moku 23rd ali'i Aimoku of Maui, eldest and royal son of Kaulahea II, 22nd Ali'i aimoku, succeeded on the death of his father as the 23rd  Ruling High Chief of Maui.  He had five wives.  His first wife was his half sister, Ali'i Kekuipoiwa I (d/o Kaulahea II 22nd Ali'i Aimoku of Maui). Their issue:
