Today was a short work day, although I didn't get as much done as I'd planned.

I had a revelation last week about the Deep 13 set. I went to the hardware store and purchased 2 cans of crack filling foam.

Although I did all the foam and painting and most of the gluing, I feel great. The set looks a million times better than it would have.

Andy is on vacation. David is MIA, I hope we can shoot soon.

No, it's not just foam shards anymore. NOW it's foam shards and crack filling foam. Yeah, it looks cornball close up, but with the right lighting and from a good distance, it looks like rock. It turned out better than I'd hoped!
Mommy yes! It's a pothole!
Right:

This little number was taken from the ORIGINAL Deep 13 wall. It was a drum cover that I believe came from Jakes house when Andy stole it.....no, I'm kidding. It was andy's. In fact, this was Andy's idea. I kept it in because of him. It's really cool, and looks like it was built into the rocks. (which it WAS cause i foamed around it.)
The Vault door
Left:

This is a close up of the Deep 13 vault door. It really opens and closes on some crappy duct-tape hinges I made. I would've liked to go more hi-tech, but alas, I have no building skills whatsoever. The door wasn't going to be in the set at all, but we didn't have enough rocks to cover the entire set, so here it is.
Scale
Scale with open door. OOh! classsy!
Above Right and Left:

Here is my sister giving the set some scale. Yeah, it's small, but it'll work. On the right, the door is open. YAY!
so far we have....
Above:

This is as much of Deep 13 set as I have done. It'll look GREAT on camera!
