The Country, the provinces, the regions, the municipalities, the cities, and the governments of all the aforementioned were with one with the schools and the family core. God was in the centre of all our activities. Next to living up to our parents expectations , we were accountable to Him. We tried our utmost to remain righteous in His eyes by following His Word. I need not tell you where, when, and why, Society crumbled into chaotic disarray.
As a child I knew RIGHT from WRONG. I knew what actions were morally sound and which ones were immoral. Most of today's children do not know the differences because of the conflicting moral standards of the various groups that make up today's society , that is, the morals set down by the group according to the lifestyle of the particular group. There is no longer a definite line between moral and immoral. There is now ammoral intended to soften the line between right and wrong. But this is not God's Way it is man's way: a way for mankind to justify its actions without looking "BAD".
I had often grumbled about the state of our schools and the poor instruction our children were receiving. It was not until I became a Christian that I realized I had to and could do something about my child's education.
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
Too much secular humanism is being taught in the public school classroom. Too much emphasis is being placed on evolution. To denounce evolution means one can expect to be ridiculed. Sound and proper teaching is being preempted by far too much psychoanalysis of the child by the teacher. Any children with a disability are conveniently slid off to the side and forgotten.
I have taken control of our life, of our education. Every day we grow spiritually. We have found that home schooling is a great way to bring our Lord Jesus into every aspect of our life. Our faith in Christ is strong and continues to grow stronger with each passing day.
We believe both the Old and New Testaments contain instruction for right living, and that the New Testament did not automatically cancel out the instructions of the Old Testament, but rather fulfilled them. That is, 'Thou shalt not kill' also includes 'You shall not even think bad things about others'.
