It's been a slow couple of days, I havn't really done anything interesting. Had a Party with DRG yesterday in Caedavre Mire and got a 10k buffer, so a at least i know for sure I wont de-level in Dynamis tomorrow =P
Nothing to report...
Today I had a quick party with SMN in Yhutunga Jungle. I forgot how slow the EXP comes at 25 lol I didn't ding in that party though. I'm still unsure of what will be my 2nd job I take to 75, but i'm leaning towards summoner.

After 2 days of Basic care from the stables and lots of direct care from me, Neofox is looking a lot better ^^ the wildgrass I fed him healed him right up after 1 day and the time I have spent with him has changed his affection to "Likes being around you" I fed him and tomorrow will have some music played for him. I can't wait 'till he grows up ^^
If your looking here and wondering "O.o whtf did everything go!?" well this page was getting way too big lol so I have opened up the first Archive for August 2006. Most of the SS's in the Archives will be deleted after time for space requirements. The Screenshots section is now back up too.

Like I said it has been a little slow, but I will make it up to you guys this weekend, I have PM 2-5, A Shadowlord run and Dynamis-Windurst to feast on with SS's and Fraps =P I am also going to try and set up a Optical Hat run
next Satturday At around 11PM GMT which will be around 6PM EST. If you need a O-hat get yourself a Hakutaku Eye Cluster from a Bazaar in Batallia, and post you name on the KI forums here so I know how many ppl we have and if it will happen.

As reported, a very busy weekend in Vana'diel. I logged onto FFXI at 6pm on Satturday, 2 hours before Dynamis-Windurst. As I warped to Al Zhabi, somone was shouting for ZM4, Typical lol. I joined the party hoping to get it done before dynamis... well
Faith Taken, Faith Restored.
there was no chance of that happening >_> after 2 hours of messing about we had 0 lantern drops (needed 2) and the RDM had been afk for about 30 mins. The pt disbanded and agreed to regroup later after my dynamis. The reason they agreed to wait for me was because I had goten a Uggalepih key with Lukahn while leveling our NPC's there some weeks ago and I was the only one able to get the Paintbrush of Souls. I used my warp cudgel, used the warp taru to Jeuno got on the Windurst airship and just made it. =P
Dynamis was @.@ as soon as I entered we were surrounded by Vanguards, It took me a few seconds to figure out how to use the "/assist" macro, but there was so muh Lag there it was hard to use. Instead I just typed /assist and presed space enter to assist the mele leader.

We ran through Windurst slaughtering everything that came our way, we had some awesome Black Mages that could take Icons down very quickly with a Burst II and Thunder IV combo. We worked well as a team and killed several NM's before the Mega Boss, we had goten 2 Warriors Masks, a Assasins Bonnet (THF) and 2 Relic Daggers. We went up and took on the big boss, The Tzee Xicu Idol. Hartless Mijin Gakure'd him at almost full HP and took a sizeable chuck out of him and he went down fairly easy after that.
The good news was that up to this point I had survived, the bad news after the Boss went down we had 40 mins on the clock so we continued to farm Relics, the mobs pulled after the boss seemed to be a lot stronger than the ones before hand and I took a Mijin Gakure in the face myself and went down. Several Vanguards started slaughtering our alliance shortly after and I was killed again around 3 minutes before the sand ran out, /NOW/ I know you can escape by throwing the hourglass away lol. We had a extra couple of relics inc Healers Duckbills after the boss, there may have been more but I wasn't paying too much attention because no DRG relics drop in Windurst.

Dynamis-Xarcabard is on this Wednesday but I don't have access so next will be Satturday, Dynamis-Jeuno. Although I don't have the needed 3 partisipations to lot for Relics in Pathos, there were no other Dragoons at Windurst lol so /IF/ there are no others again and they drop, I may be allowed to lot for the Wyrm Gauntlets =P

After Dynamis I contacted the guy who was setting up ZM4, we started gathering more people, the worst mistake... there were a lot of people that needed it so we had a alliance of 12 people. It wasn't too bad to begin with, we got 2 lantern drops fairly quickly now we had a THF, after that we headed to Norg and reset our Tonberry hate, again no problems finding the Priest, but after that things got bad, we got lost a few times and had to backtrack when somone realised where the hidden room with the paintbrush was. I couldn't find the brush in the room and it took a while for somone to read up what i had to do, and what order to view the books in.

I got the paintbrush and we headed into the Den of Racnor... It took some time to figure out how to use the paintbrush again but we finally did it. In the den the leader took us in compleetly the wrong direction, we ended up at a unlit alter and I died along with a few others when we got hate. The BLM escaped us and we headed all the way back to try again.

After about a waste of 2 hours everyone got their lanterns lit and I found the entrance to the BCNM. The horrible thing about the den is there is nowhere to rest, aggroing mobs are everywhere. I stood in a corner while I waited for the alliance, we had lost 2 ppl by this time, even though out of the way I got hate again so I kited the whole room and de-spawned everything when I died.

We /FINALLY/ got into the bc, split up the partys to 5 each went in and Raped the damn tonberrys, the most hated thing about that mission is the actual fight is so easy but the pissing around you have to do will make you want to pull your hair out. >_<
I have the Tonberry fight frapped, unfortunatly I accidently had record sound on so I didn't bother doing any editing. I will upload the movie soon. After ZM 4 we did a little of ZM5, we got the Sancuary of Zi'Tah done and Cape Terrigan done but got wiped in Ifrit's couldren so I still need to get 2 NM's done.

After so much badness on ZM4 the following day with PM 2-5 was really fun. Our static headed out to Riverine site A01 and fought Drakes for skins, we then headed up to the BCNM without incident =P <3 Zeplins navigation skillz lol the fight was hard as hell, but really fun we lost our first 2 trys but i managed to escape both of them, and we won on our 3rd try. Our Kiters stayed alive long enough for me the PLD and BLM to kill the first Epsilon, they then took turns kiting the other as we took down the 2nd which was harder, I missed a lot more, the 3rd was weaker and went down fast. I managed to figure out how often they use their abilitys and for how long as they didnt show up on log, and froze them with yellow liquid on BLM and DRG, stratagy worked well once we knew what to expect. =P
The next couple of CoP missions are just CS's so I will get them done by next Sunday just incase we decide to continue, but at the moment another 2-5 run is sheduled for the people that missed it this week.

I'm sorry I still havn't got the ZM4 movie uploaded,IDK whats going on with Filefront. Yesterday I tried it said 4 hours, now it's saying 8 hours >_> I'll have to let it upload tonight and i'll post it tomorrow.
'Lil Santica
I did the sequal to the Chacing Dreams quest yesterday. It's a NM fight in Bibiki Bay, really fun, you should try it out if your 65+ reward is a deluxe carbine. You need a Copper key and a Large Dragon Scale both droped in Riviene site A01 so obviously you can't solo that part and you need to be on PM 2-5.
I had been waiting for so long on people to help with Hakutaku, I just gave up lol somone elce that needed it told me he got a Beastmaster LS that does it for money to do it for him. I contacted the leader of the LS and she said the price was 1,000,000gil -_- well I as I got my cluster for free, I guessed I'd break even, and this was a quick easy way to kill the NM.
The 4 Beastmaster's rustled every Million Eyes in the area and just kept throwing them at it's own kind lol it took about a hour and a half for all the Million Eyes to take Haku down, but they finnaly did and I got my Optical Hat =D

I know somtimes I have complained about Dragoons being left out of partys ... ... ... but after last night, I realise they really should be somtimes. I got a invite shortly after raising my flag in Al Zhabi and Gathered at Jeuno... I didn't bother to ask where we were going, as they were gathering in Jeuno, I figured it would be Bibiki Bay but we tele-holla'd and went to King Ranperres Tomb. Way down into a secret area, the plan was to fight Skeletons. Well with a Dragoon and a Samurai as DD's we did very bad, not only can DRG and SAM not Skillchain very well together but Skeles have a high Resistance against Polearm's and Great Katanas. Needless to say aswell as all the Skeles AOE Drain and blind, we disbanded after a couple of K exp.

Today was a lot better, I logged out just outside of the Tomb yesterday in West Ronfaure, I logged in and got a invite without seeking even before I made it back to San d'Oria. I looked bad at first, the retarded White Mage just disbanded and refused to awnser tells because finding a tank took so long... shortly after the WHM went we got a Paladin but then couldn't find a healer >_>

We eventually got a Red Mage and found a good camp in Caedavre Mire, around 23k was gathered in about 3 hours and I dinged 71 =D the newest thing now on my To-do list is to do the "Methods Create Madness" Polearm WSNM for Impulse Drive.

Again I have to say sorry, I still havn't got the ZM4 movie uploaded, all Filefront is giving me now is errors, I will get it up asap. I also my not be updating the site as much from here on out, my enrollment to college is this Tuesday and my course
The Trails Begin
starts next week so I won't be playing FFXI as much. Yesterday I picked up the Spear of Trails in San d'Oria and started picking up WSNM points, first in King Ranperres Tomb with Zeplin, we took turns SC'ing light and we should have goten quite a few points... untill he mpk'd me lol. I then went out to Garlige Catiedrel with my NPC Yoli and SC'd with Scythe > Polearm. Unfortunatly Yoli still dosent stay for very long so I decided to pick up my Tactics pearl and also did the Blighted Gloom quest in the NPC storyline.
Untill I get Impulse Drive I don't really have any plans to do anything elce lol so thats about it for what I will be doing during weekdays. Weekends are still Dynamis/COP for me, we have Dynamis-Jeuno tomorrow and COP 2-5 and 3-3 on Sunday which I will frap.

I have lost a little faith in FFXI again, this weekend wasn't the most productive... the word yawn comes to mind lol. Satturday, Dynamis-Jeuno didn't go very well, people got kinda lazy and kept leaving early.
Darkness Named
It looked good to begin with, we were slaughtering everything as we had done in Dynamis-Windurst, we even got a Scouts Beret (RNG Head Relic) within the first 5 mins. We got a lot of Relics INC. another Scouts Beret, 2 Relic Bows, 2 Relic Staffs, 1 Relic Shield, 2 SAM feet and 1 DRK legs. No Wyrm gauntlets dropped though ;_;
Not long in, as we got close to the AH, somone ****ed somthing up, 100's of mobs came and wiped the entire ls... after a huge raise session we continued into the gardens and decided it was too late to go for the win, we continued to farm relics but once again got wiped out close to the end of our session. I was kicked from the area before I was un-weakened and we all went our seperate ways...
Yesterday was CoP again, all went well to begin with, I met everyone near the spawn point for the first NM in the Carpenters Landing. We took the NM down fast and finished up the San d'Orian part of Road Forks with ease.
The Windurst part was another matter... there were so many CS's that needed to be viewed it just got painful reading them all... when we were finally done, me and Silverdragon, were the last couple to join the party in Attohwa Chasm. We got lost trying to find the NM spawn point and the leader had invited a full alliance including Hartless from RFTD who were there on ENM to kill the NM before we got there.

There were too Impatient about it and Zeplin hadn't yet zoned so we needed to kill the NM again anyways. It went down easy with Sil stunning it before it could reach it's burrow and regain full HP, we got the Jewl and headed for the mountain... well we were running around for a hour in circles trying to find the damn road up with no luck. Roch found it at the last moment, we all grabed new Jewls and headed up... it was like a maze... one you could fall off and have to start all over.

Prity much following my own instincts I was the first to make it to the summit, Zeplin had dropped by this point, I finally managed to show Roch the way up and he showed Sil, but of the Static, us 3 were the only ones that got the key items.
On the plus side, my Chocobo has grown up =D Neofox is now a young chocobo, the event triggered on the 19th day. IDK if there is a White chocobo, but from what I know it will become the color of it's tail feathers, and as you can see Neofox's tail feathers are totally white ^^

Heya guys, sorry I havn't updated in a while, to be honest there hasn't been anything to update. I haven't been in FFXI very much this month, I been busy getting settled into Uni, the few times I have played have been events mostly.
I'm Alive!
I got my Wyrm Brais relic in Dynamis-Bastok last week, unfortunatly they are worse than the Barone legs set so I won't be putting them to use... I also got disconnected and didn't get the win =( also was watching a movie the other day and totally forgot about Dynamis-San d'Oria XD

My Chocobo, Neofox grew up to a adult, unfortunatly he was plain old yellow, nothing special. The egg I choose was the least warm and so his stats were very low also, I figured out how to do the Whistle quest and registerd to call him when I need to, very handy to be able to do that. The good news is you can register to call any chocobo you have raised, even after you retire them. Thats what I did with Neofox, as I now want to try a different method to raise a Blue Chocobo, I retired him to the Jeuno chocobo stables, after I did I got a VCS Registration card, which you get for every raised chocobo after retirement, you then trade that card to the stable hand to call that chocobo anytime. I also got a neet little plaque which is a furnishing. Oh and before anyone asks, thats one of my Mannequins lol.
Once in a while being a high level can be a little stressful, iv'e decided to take some time off of DRG as for now I dont really have the time needed to level it to any degree, I will be around in FFXI, just not as much as I have been over the summer, I am going to put myself in Windy and raise my new chocobo there, leveling Blue Mage as I go ^^

OH! I almost forgot, I got the ZM4 movie uploaded a while ago, I just forgot to post a link lol you can now download it in the movies section =)
