Artificial Life 2.x
The goal of this project is to create the computer simulation of artificial life environment that emulates some of the properties of real-life environment, like the weather conditions that affect entities performance, amount of resources like food and water etc. The environment will be the place where those artificial entities performance will be verified. The artificial entities will be autonomic computer emulated beings that will have some of the properties of real-life organisms: they will have chromosome encoding their capabilities like age limit, sex, sex drive, food drive etc. They will be equipped with decisive module and will be subjects to evolutionary processes (they will mate and create new beings, using genetic algorithm technology, they will be verified by emulated environment in real-time). The performance of so created colony will be recorded in the fashion that will allow the user of this software to create detailed reports about colony performance as well as about the performance of individual entities. Software will be highly configurable so great amount of environment as well as entities properties can be pre-programmed by user in order to study their effect on the colony's performance.
STATUS:
75%
Things To Do:
1) Unified entity history recording format.
2) Scripting interface to program decisive module (currently used LUA 5.1, for reasons unknown yet causes problems).
