About my INSTRUMENTS
When I talk about my music, I cannot leave my instruments out. Buying instruments is one of my terrific interests. I have an unright piano, several violins, one viola, one recorder, one tin flute, one synthesizer, one electric bass guitar and one Erhu in my houses, sounds noisy, right? Actually, I just know how to play piano, violin and viola. I have learnt playing piano since five years old and one year later, violin came into my life. And, I play viola in orchestras, sounds interesting....... Here, I like to give my special and deepest thanks to my piano teacher, Miss Peggy Wong. From her, I had learnt a lot, no matter how to be a gentleman, or a smart performer. Thanks very much, Miss Wong! Ahhhhhh!!! I also like to play Gamelan, a set of instruments from Indonesian. I have already been playing those for more than five years and I hope I can continue playing that with my friends in the future. 2-weeks-life in Bali was exciting and fun!
This photo was taken when I was pracitsing my piano in the house of my father's younger sister. Afterwards, she gave me this piano and this was my first piano and instrument.
A photo taken with my friends and our Indonesian Gamelan teacher from Australia. He is an excellent player in Gamelan music, dancing and shadow play!!! From Left to Right: Edmond, Samuel, me, Podi, Ka Pui, Elaine.
A photo taken after a performance in Haking Podium. That day is terribily windy, but we still make an 'okay' performance, I think......
