There is absolutely no need to waste an extra day for goofing off by watching some stupid MTV or Video Junction tape, going to get a slice of pizza, or just lounging around in bed reading thrashy magazines. Working on Saturday means an additional 20 percent of quality time, because off and on we get unnecessary holidays announced by the government or the businessmen or the politicians.

In Pakistan, the level of efficiency is dismally low. This applies to workers, teachers, bureaucrats, and even students. There is a tendency to take it easy and leave things as they are. What this country needs is to strictly follow the advice of the Father of Nation who said that we should "work, work, and work, and together we will build a better Pakistan." Let us heed this pearl of wisdom and work even on Saturdays. A better Pakistan is just around the corner. We’ll just have to work for it !
