April 08, 2000INFRASTRUCTURE TO INDUSTRIES
Pakistan can only, and only progress if the industries do not suffer chronic shortages of water, electricity, and gas. If the policymakers cannot provide these, then they should . . . . . . drown in a corroded tumbler of brackish water in a dingy, cold room in an abandoned crude cabin where there is a small, bent candle whose flame flickers desperately. This, after all, is the present picture of industrialization in the country.
Sincerely:
MIKE BAXTER
