Jack Pfiester
Jack Pfiester after providing 2 solid starts in his major league debut with the London Majors has suffered from a foot stress fracture which will cause him to miss 16 days. We hope to see him in the starting rotation very soon. But for now his replacement George Pipgras is sure to provide some solid work in his major league debut which, with impressive performance, could land him a regular spot on the major league roster according to GM Omar Minaya.

LONDON MAJORS NEW GENERAL MANAGER
The London Majors owner George Massimillo has announced the signing of new General Manager Omar Minaya to help bring this team to greatest. After a few interviews with potential candidates the Majors front office believes that Minaya has the knowledge and inventivness to help bring a consistent level of competitiveness to the London Majors franchise. Which despite a good start is still in serious need of improvemet.
Minaya said to some reporters during the press conference at The Battlefield in London that he is prepared for the job. Minaya plans to meet with manager Bobby Valentine after the team returns from thier road trip which will conclude on Saturday April 28th in Washington. Minaya pointed at the pluses of this years team including the bullpen which has in a combinded 21.2 innings given up merely one earned run. Minaya praised the whole pitching staff and briefly touched on the offense which many see as the problem with the Majors. Minaya said that improvments must be made but went no further than that. Minaya also plans to introduce a head scout in the coming few days.
