As Long As We Cry           Nur Mut

Remember when you are down in the land
Where no man can say where his brother stands
Remember when you are down in the land
Where you can't hear his voice and you can't see his face

Remember the marches of protest not stopping that war
The footsteps of soldiers filled with all the blood
Of innocent victims, fallen in this senseless war
So we cry, so we cry to every soul

Remember the difference between East and West
How can you tell me that we've ever done our best
Remember the difference between North and South
Are we at some time able to give the food to every mouth

Remember the marches of protest not stopping that war
The footsteps of soldiers filled with all the tears
Of lonely families, missing their father, their sons and their friends
So we cry, so we cry to every soul

History told me that there are Black and White
But turn we back ourselves and kill the human rights
History told me that there are Yellow and Red
So tell me why they are trained to kill and not to love their next?

But history told me that
Marches of protest can stop every war
No footsteps of soldiers, no sadness at all
There will be peace all over this world
As long as we cry, as long as we cry to every soul
