Non-Perfect Cell Saga
The Z Warriors have all taken Senzu beans and have fully recovered. The Z Warriors know that the Androids next move is to go to Goku�s house so they take the still sickly Goku to Kame House. On the way there, Bulma contacts the warriors in the plane and tell them that she has found a Capsule Corp Time Machine much like the one Trunks used to journey back in time. Trunks says that isn't possible because he has his capsule with him. He says that Bulma from the future made only one. To investigate, Trunks and Gohan go out to see the other time machine. They find the time machine damaged and the shell of a large, insect-like creature nearby. Little do they know that in a nearby town the creature that hatched from the shell is absorbing every human it can find.
Elsewhere Piccolo comes to the conclusion that the only way to beat the Androids is to become much stronger. He says he must become a "Super Namekian" by fusing with Kami. Up on Kami's lookout Kami witnesses the horrible creature devouring everyone in Ginger town. The creature spares no one and leaves only an empty set of clothing behind where a person once was. Piccolo now joins Kami on his lookout and makes the proposal to fuse. Kami knows the Earth no longer needs a God but an incredibly powerful being to destroy what will soon be revealed as Non-Perfect Cell. Kami agrees to the fusion and the two Namekians become one. Piccolo is used as a base in the fusion and the "Super Namekian" is formed.(Note: When Namekians fuse, they don't combine features like Humans and Saya-jin do. One of the members of the fusion is used as a "base." This means that when the fusion is over the resulting being will look exactly like the base.)
The renewed Piccolo now flies to the town where the creature has absorbed everyone. The creature reveals itself and a fight begins between the two. Cell captures Piccolo and absorbs one of Piccolo's arms. Piccolo manages to break free of the creatures grip and demands to know more about the opponent who holds him. He does this as a kind of final wish before he is absorbed fully by the creature. The odd being submits to this wish and reveals himself as Cell, a creation of Dr. Gero. Cell tells how when Trunks returned to his timeline in the future and killed the Androids, Cell killed Trunks and took his time machine to return to the past where the Androids were still alive. Cell also tells Piccolo about how Dr. Gero abandoned the project that made Cell but let his computer keep running to continue the project. Cell still hasn't revealed why he needed the androids so much. He tells Piccolo that he needs to absorb the power of androids 17 and 18 in order to reach the level of "Perfect Cell." Cell also says that he absorbed so many people because he is newly hatched and needed power. Piccolo says that he will do anything in his power to keep Cell from reaching Perfect form. Piccolo now rips off the useless piece of flesh that used to be his arm and regenerates a new one. Now the fight continues again but Cell escapes to another town to absorb more people for energy. Now Piccolo and the rest of the Z Warriors go to search for Cell again before he can reach his perfect state.
Elsewhere the androids head to Goku�s house by car. When they get there they realize that Goku has left. They now continue to travel slowly to Kame House to find Goku. None of the Androids want to fly there because they still think everything is a game. Android 16 remains silent through the whole ordeal.
Goku has finally recovered from his viral heart disease and is ready to fight for the Earth again. Goku apparently had heard everything that was going on while he was unconscious. Goku is well again and uses his teleport maneuver to get his son Gohan, Trunks and Vegeta. He tells them of a special place called the Room of Spirit and Time where time passes slower than everywhere else. He tells them that they can train for an entire year in only one day. He tells them the place is in Sky Palace but the only drawback is that only two warriors can enter at a time. Vegeta and Trunks are the first to train and the others soon follow. While this is going on Cell has gathered enough energy from the people he absorbed to become strong enough to fight the androids. Cell is on his way to fight 17 and 18.
The Androids have finally made it to the island where Kame House is only to meet up with Piccolo and the rest of the Z Warriors- Krillin, Tienshinhan, Yamcha and Chaozu. Piccolo flies over to another nearby island to fight Android 17 while the other artificial humans watch. The two fighters went at it until Cell finally catches up with them. Cell easily took out Piccolo and then went after Android 17. Cell is about to absorb the android and be half way to Perfection when Android 16 jumped in and took out Cell. Cell then emerged from the rubble he was buried under and absorbed 17. The absorption let him move to Stage 2 and destroy Android 16. Now Android 18 joins in the battle and is also easily absorbed by Cell. You know what that means... PERFECT CELL!
Finally, all of the Saya-jin emerge from the Room of Spirit and Time, much stronger than before. Bulma now gathers the parts of the destroyed Android 16, rebuilds him, and reprograms him to fight for good. He joins the Z Warriors.
