Down next to yours
Basking in the warmth
Of our bodies together
Laying in your arms,
I remember our fights
The arguments and �talks�
And even though we cry
We still love each other.
As I fall asleep
In your arms
I remember asking you
To be mine, forever
You laughed and cried
Fell to your knees, smiling
And whispered �yes�
In my dreams I know
That when I wake
I won�t wake to paradise
As long as I remain
In your warm arms.
I open my eyes to look
At your heavenly face
And remember you died
Many years ago.
