Dark Power
by Crown
A man wept into the darkest of nights.
Crying out in pain as the demons swarmed
To consume his mind with dark ideas.
Stray from darkness, the elders had warned,
And the powers it can give, they are evil.
He talked of the demons and devils lore.
But the man could not resist to reveal
To himself the skills he could be taught.
Could he really place a god in a seal?
So he studied what his heart sought,
To bridge the gap of immortality
And man, though many believed that he could not.
But he continued to work on, daily.
As he gained much knowledge, the demons power
Was revealed, giving him life without death.
Performed during the bewitching hour,
He cast the forbidden Dark Ritual
And then the demons devoured his soul.
He was send out into the cruelest world
His insanity became holy on site
And became the greatest King of the fools.
