Imagine: -> Is what we had now nothing
Why must the birds no longer sing
One secret can do this to you
Would this have happened if at first you knew
I can't figure out how what I believe
Can make you just turn and leave
What you're doing makes me sad yet mad
And you don't understand that it hurts so bad
I want my decisions to be free
What do you have against me
What did I ever do to you
Tell me and Please be true
My life was once aflame
But no longer and I'm to blame
What I'm going through is so hard
And now my heart is so black, so charred
I wish you could understand
I too need a helping hand
I am a person too Just like you
I've been caused so many griefs
And I accept and respect your beliefe
Why can't you do the same for mine
Just tell me you do and I'll be fine
Imagine being beaten every day
With no way to escape, no way
Imagine fearing for your life
Barely resisting the knife
Imagine being alone
Stressing on your own
Imagine those meant to love you
Not caring enough to
Imagine being rejected
Being completely neglected
Being told only bad stuff
As if not knowing good wasn't enough
Now imagine finding smiles
Having friends for miles and miles
Imagine finding someone who loves you
And you loving them too
One again imagine loss
Like life you can just toss
Leaving everything good behind
With few things good to find
With friends too good
But not doing what I should
I put them through the worst
I didn't put them first
I wish I could stand up and be strong
But everytime I try I do something wrong
And I just fall deeper
While the walls of this pit get steeper
It's like a trap with no way out
And no matter how I scream and shout
No one hears me, is it true
Or is it just no one wants to
I'm trying hard to move on
But I know that the past will never be gone
And I'll always be a bit behind
Behind physically, in my soul and in my mind
So strongly for love I yearn
And there must be something I did earn
Something besides pain
Some sort of gain
I know I just must wait
Soon I will see the gate
My way out, my fresh start
My trust of giving out my heart
Now I know, I see the gate
Just a vision, to find my soul mate
I would thank you but why
All you did was make me cry
But you know that is a lie
You did not Just make me cry
You helped me see what's true
And for that I do thank you
My lifeline, A ladder, this is it
I have a way out of the pit
I must work hard to get out
But when I do I hope you all hear my shout
Songs/Poems
Clips from a song I wrote called Perfect:
Don't expect so much of me
I'm not perfect, never will be
I can't be just what you want, what you need
Don't try to change me, Don't feed your greed
I am what I am, That's all I can be
All I am is me
Not worth it, I'm not perfect
You look at me like I can change my ways
That brings anger, makes me blaze
I look like this
So will I lose your kiss
I feel like me
Will you let that be
I'm not a dream come true
I'm not perfect for you
Untitled 1:
Steal a kiss
You are my wish
Where are you now
When will you come
So many years passed by
From when I left
You know why
To return is all I want
All I need
My pain I must decrease
My hunger I must feed
The throbbing pain
Will it ever cease
The tears like rain
Pouring down my face
With smothered sobs
I feel like a disgrace
I left that life behind
The life where everyday
Came a perfect tomorrow
Yet what did I find
Denial, depression, increasing sorrow
All I need is a hero to rescue me
Rescue me from the hate
Clear my tears so I can see
Open a new gate
Bring the happiness
Take the fears
Come be my savior
Wipe away the tears
