Since my method of reviewing might not make sense to some people, I'll put up an explanation here.

REVIEW: Here, I state my thoughts and opinions about the game. I'll comment on its graphics, gameplay, sound... Pretty much anything. In later updates, I might include some good ol' screenies to go with it, but for now...

GRAPHICS: A red flag will probably go up here as I look at graphics first in my numbered review. Don't worry... I review fairly. I don't give bonus points to games that have good graphics. Anyway, out of ten, I base the score on how good the graphics of the game are. Usually, I'm pretty lenient here.

GAMEPLAY: Here, I state how well the gameplay is. If the engine is good, it'll usually get a pretty high score. Glitches in the engine WILL detract from the score, but I won't drop a score too far because it's buggy. If a game has massive engine glitches that make the game hard to play, then I will. Difficulty and learning curve are also factored in. Also out of ten.

SOUND AND MUSIC: This is where I rate the soundtrack. This is more based on the music than anything. If the soundtrack is good, if I liked it, then it'll get a good score. If not... This is out of ten.

ORIGINALITY: You have to love a game that's original. The higher the score, the more unique it is. If it's been copied multiple times, it'll also get a high score. If the plot is rather... uninspired, the score isn't going to be very good. It's like Mario having to rescue Peach. How original is that? Out of ten.

REPLAYABILITY: All games must be replayable. It's a general rule around here. This is out of ten as well. If the replayability is high, the score will be high. Since most games are pretty static in terms of events or traps (X2, for instance.), this will be rated more on enjoyability than anything.

OVERALL: This is where I tally up the scores. The total is out of fifty. If it's higher... Well, something's REALLY wrong.

FINAL VERDICT: I give a letter grade here. Depending on how the percentage is based on overall (Score divided by 50.) the game gets a letter, and that's my final verdict. Most games have a detailed verdict in the review. An explanation of the letters:

A - EXCELLENT! I fervently recommend this game. It's got it all. (90%)

B+ - A great game with few flaws. Highly recommend. (87.5%)

B - A very good game with some flaws, but none too severe. I recommend. (82.5%)

B- - A good game with several flaws. I recommend a rental on this one if availible. (80%)

C+ - Above average game. I recommend that you rent it first. (78.5%)

C - An average game. Nothing too out of the ordinary. (72.5%)

C- - A slightly below-average game. Might want to steer clear. (70%)

D - Oof... Steer clear of these. (60%)

F - "Please buy this uninspired, rushed game and let me take your money without an ounce of effort!" (below 60%)
