You look around, bored. You stand up and go to have a look around the oasis, which is immensely huge. Except for the open space around the lake, it is mostly covered by many, many palm trees. Life- not visible, but still life- sounds all around you, something you would not really expect in the middle of a desert. You spot a creature in the trees and peer into the growth. It is a feline creature, obviously. But you don't think you have ever seen a feline with wings before and look at it curiously. It's sleeping, but it cracks open an eyelid and blinks at you.
"You know, it's not very polite to stare," she tells you, raising her head to get a better look at you. You apologize quickly.
"That's alright," she says, yawning. "I wasn't quite asleep yet. Good day." She lays her head back onto her paws and tries going back to sleep. You walk away.
