You head down the road that presumably leads to the Pierra Valley, as it's the
only road there is anyway. You notice a star that's close enough to the path to
walk through, and decide to take the chance- you plunge in your arm, and it
punges through as if the star were made of smooth water. Smiling, you walk
through. Piece of cake. Then, you notice a black cat with sitting about a foot
in front of you, tail swinging back and forth... Back and forth... You stare.
 After a while, the cat slinks away, and is englufed in the yellow light of the star. A white cat takes its place, speckled with blue and black with teal eyes. It gives you a meek sort of smile. It mews softly, and you see the black cat peering out of the light at the white one. They both run off there and then. You exit the star.
You see another circular section off in the distance. This one, however... Has grass in it. It must be the Pierra Valley! You keep walking. |
