THE LANDS BEYOND
Emerging from the spiral staircase, you seem to be standing on some sort of solid path. You sweep your fingers over the substance making it up, and it feels like plastic with little bumps. The path is transluscent.
What's holding this thing up?
"Welcome... To the strange lands of the Beyonce." says a voice, coming from nowhere in particular.
"Who- where- what?" you stutter, backing up a few steps and looking around.
"Twilight's Waiting Dream, nowhere in particular, a Rsuchu unicorn." it answers each of your questions. A unicorn steps daintly out into your range of vision, out from what seems to be a fiery... Ball... of... Gas. A star?
"Yes. Strange lands, you find them? These are the Lands Beyond. Reality is defied here in greater magnitude then the rest of the whole continent." she gives a nod at the star she had just emerged from. "You'll find that you can easily enter and reenter the stars that are possible to reach."
"So... I can just walk into the star and not be burned to a crisp?" you ask tentatively.
"Yes. Didn't I just say that?" she asks you good-naturedly.
"Sorta." you say, flustered.
"Yes. Continue on your journey, and you shall reach the Pierra Valley in time. You'll find it a quaint sort of place."
She walks back into the star, leaving you (once again) by yourself.
