| This is Allison's baby! She is a 10 year old Appaloosa/Thoroughbred mare, 16.1 hands high, bay with a blanket and a star on her forehead. Her sire is Casa Dante, brother to Affirmed, the last Triple Crown winner back in 1978. Her dame is a multi-talented Appy mare. Risky is excellent in dressage and is schooling 3rd level. Allison is hoping to achieve her USDF Broze medal on Risky this show season! She also LOVES to jump, and has competed successfully in Training level eventing and 3'6" jumpers. Risky is a very sensitive horse, so she will not be used for lessons, except for maybe letting a student ride her at the walk to understand how horses can be sensitive to rider's body weight and subtle communications. |
