Yahoo! It's summer time! Time for some fun! I love the summer. What am I doing this summer? Not much, though. I plan to sit by the window and look at the beautiful weather, have a snack, then take a nap, wake up, have a snack, and look out the window again. But, I get lots more time to work on my web site, write letters to my meow meow friends, and that kind of stuff. I decided to make a summer page...just for fun. This is what I have so far. Keep checking back for new things!

Since I don't like water very much...and since I've always dreamed of being beside a waterfall, my meowmie made me this illusion! I am sitting beside the beautiful waterfall. Thank you, mommy. This was GREAT!

I thought it would be cool if I did a journal to keep you updated on how things are going in the summer. I could do this once a week, or whenever I think something needs to be put in my little journal!

June 30, 2001 Saturday- I checked my mail this morning and got a cookie from Bailey. He's a sweetheart! Then, I rolled over on my back and asked for my human mommy to massage my tummy. Awww...it feels great! Me and my human mommy played our little game. She calls it 'ATTACK!' Here's how we play it: I will get behind this low, wooden thing covered in a butterfly cloth. (Meowmie calls it a table) I will hide behind it. She'll go on the opposite side. Then, I'll try to attack her. It's hard, sometimes, because she'll move to another side. But once I get her, she gives me a treat! After that, I made this summer page and wrote this entry in my journal. That's all for now!

July 7, 2001 Saturday- It's a nice day outside. I've been having trouble with my opening page. But, it works now, and I am very happie! I decided to go on my computer and surf some web sites. I came across a grrr-eat site, starring a cat named Bastet. A very puuur-ty lady, indeed! She even made me a present you can see it on the adoption page. We meowed online and had a fun time. I am making more friends everyday! Then, I decided to make a contest for all kitties to enter. It would be for the cutest and funniest kitty photo! Would you like to enter? Then, click here! Well, I guess that is all for today!

July 10, 2001 Tuesday- Today wasn't a very exciting day for me. I slept and ate, mostly. Meowmie is also making a video of me. She calls it the 'Penny Movie.' She just video tapes me. Sometimes, I do something funny when i'm on. She says it's a great way to see how much I've grown...hmmm...Well, I've also done some things with my web site. I've edited, updated, and added to this web site. I have been also working on the monkey's 1st birthday party and his page. He's still a little shy. So, I'm doing all the typing and my paws ache! But, it's coming along nicely, at least that's what my human mommy says!

July 14, 2001 Saturday- Today is a sunny day. It looks purty outside! But then, meowmie and fafur gave me a bath! Oh, I hate baths! You get all wet! like to paw wiff my water in my bowl, but I don't like ot be put into water! Icky, icky water! I pooped in the water...I decided when they were cleaning the poopie, I could escpae. But, I didn't. The door was closed shut. I meowed and meowed! Finally, they let me out! Since it was a sunny day outside, and I was shivering, meowmie let me go outside to dry. When I came back, I had to get my nails cut. I don't like that very much. But, I let daddy cut them...they were getting too long, anyway. Then, I added our kitty booth, as you can see above. Meowmie made me the illusion, above.

July 16, 2001 Monday- Meowmie and I decided to download a free version of Paint Shop Pro. It took a furry long time! I couldn't wait until it was done! It wouldn't open wiff AOL so, we asked meowmie's brofur for some help. We finally got it opened...huray! As soon as it was opened, meowmie and I were going crazy! We could do so many cool things with it! We are very excited...I don't want these 30 days to end!

July 21, 2001 Saturday- I've added a new award you can win! It's the 5th one on this page. Meowmie helped me make it. Do you know how hard it would be to make an award wiff paws!?! Meowmie has fingers, they work better. She also made the e-mail button on our home page. This morning, meowmie tried to scare me again, when I was sleeping! My tail didn't get puffy but, I was still purty scared. Meowmie had bought a big bag of cat food yesterday! Yummy! She also bought some tarter control treats. They don't even taste like tarter control treats...they're yummy in my tummy! Well, I guess that's all for today!

July 26, 2001 Thursday- Meowmie has been busy this week, because of her soccer camp. But, today is her last day and now, we plan to update this site more often! We got a lot of mail today and we have some new stuff to put up. Soooo....check back for some new things! We're gonna be a little busy now, so, I guess I better go!

July 27, 2001 Friday- We've added some new stuff, lately. Meowmie helped me create some questions for The Penny Quiz. You will have to hunt for the answers. I hope you have fun! I also put up meowmie's "creations" on this page. On that page, there are lots of free stuff for you to use. Enjoy! Since my human mommy helps me out so much, I dedicated a page for her. July 30, 2001 Monday- Meowmie has updated her free graphics and backgrounds page.
We hope you will check it out! Also, meowmie has been dressing me up in silly clothes and taking pictures of me! eek! Oh, well, they'll be up next month. Then, at night, meowmie was rolling a ball with her nose! (Silly mommY!) I got scared when she did that! My tail got al puffy and I bobbed her in the head! Whoops! But, I said sowwy. So now, everything's okay!

August 10, 2001 Friday- Not much has been going on. I've been sorta lazy. I went to another house, recently. It smelled funny but, I got used to it. Then, I peed on the way home. I guess my 'plan' didn't work, again! Maybe next time...

August 15, 2001 Wednesday- Meowmie came back from her vacation yesterday night. She smelled weird and different...but I didn't care! I rubbed my face against her nose to leave my scent. She smells a little better now.

August 16, 2001 Thursday- Meowmie's meowmie opened the windows and let some flies in. If you didn't know before, I find it fun catching flies...and other flying things. I hid behind the great, big wall. I spotted my prey...and...POUNCE! Geez...you little fly! Come back here! Well, I guess I will try again, later. Oh! The summer's almost over! I am going to have to get another journal book. That's easy...I'll ask meowmie to make me one! tee hee hee!
